I've done 10 QF flights in the past month (mix of dom and int). Carry-on was weighed on none of them.
Nah. We had things weighed on the other type of bin.Flew 4 sectors today and only on QF433 Syd-Mel was weighing taking place. This aircraft was the newer 737 with the push up overheads and I suspect that is the trigger.
Wouldn't even let her transfer something to her handbag.
Assuming this is QF and assuming the handbag was less than 7kg (most likely), wouldn't that then mean the zealot was wrong? QF allow 2 carry on pieces, each to 7kg so why couldn't she transfer 300g to the handbag, which would then comply?
An absolute zealot policing the premium security line at SYD this morning (no one checking the regular queue).
Massive attitude even with a poor girl who was 7.3kg. Wouldn't even let her transfer something to her handbag.
This is going to be extremely annoying if it become the norm...suspect a lot of savvy flyers will start to avoid the premium queue for the short regular one on the left of the terminal.
Sunday afternoon PER-SYD full A330 carry on was weighed. Warning issued as we lined up that they would weigh bags. Seemed to be targeting the priority line more than the general line. I knew I was over with my roll aboard so had packed in a spare laptop bag.
Monday night SYD-PER full A330. Flight attendant policing the priority queue at the entry. I asked her if they were weighing bags, she responded "No, this is an Airbus so we don't need to"
Consistently inconsistent!!
