They have come good with the 1000 points compensation, and are refusing to budge on anything more...
I'm just waiting until tomorrow - the bonus points for the 25% promotion should have posted - will be another opportunity to give them a whack
Signup was a bit of a nightmare, made more insulting by the fact that I have bank accounts with them.
Strange I've gone thru almost 3 cycles with no bonus points given
Just got approved for this card today. Applied 24/4 - almost 2 weeks turnaround. Had to supply a pay slip. Somehow they duplicated my online application - the reference number I was given was given a denial when using the online 'application status check' (argh.. panic stations!) - but I was given a new reference number that I could only check by calling, it didnt work online.
Now to line up the next one...
2 weeks turnaround?! Just as bad as Bankwest. Good to know the timeframe, I've been waiting for 5 business days to date. I've been giving my credit file a fair bit of a whack lately so to be honest I'm expecting it to be approved, but surprises do happen.
I'm so conscious of the credit file hits, this feels like they have just ripped me off a bonus point churn!!
Horrendous. It gets better too - they not only duplicated the application, but duplicated the bloody credit file hit! Beyond pissed.
Going to wait til the card shows up before raising hell - I'm so conscious of the credit file hits, this feels like they have just ripped me off a bonus point churn!!
Applied 26/4, conditionally approved 28/4; sent in tax assessment by "secure upload" same day. Phone call from HSBC on 3 May asking for assessment. You've got it! I replied. A few minutes later, "oh yes we've found it, you will get card in next few days."
Friday (05-05) letter arrives saying I need to go to Post Office to do 100 points.
Sigh.
"Useless as cough on a bull"
