Signed up on the Basis of $249, 13 month membership and 2 $50 dining vouchers. Have just received my membership kit and there is only 1 $50 voucher and only mentions 1 voucher in the letter. Has anyone else had this issue? And any advice? Cheers

Can I ask - were you already in the Priority Privilege program to get this offer?
Is there any advantage by phoning to join over enrolling on line? Should I be so cynical to think that the extra $50 voucher some are getting is the difference between the two membership enrolment options?

Called to complain today. They changed the story to "5-6 weeks"

How long do the Dining Rewards welcome packs generally take to arrive? I have been waiting for about 6 weeks. Should I give them a call?

I joined on 15 December, pack arrived today, from Budapest!

I was also promised 2 * $50 dining vouchers and the pack only mentions one. Has anyone managed to redeem two vouchers?

Also, do you get the 25% discount prior to redeeming the $50 voucher? For example, spend $100, less 25% = $75, redeem $50 voucher, balance due = $25.

The letters are standard, and the discount is attached electronically. Perhaps ring IHG Dining and see what they can see.

Is there no way to see what you have on the card? I know you can check the hotel free night on your online account but what about vouchers?

I assume you don't get to use both at the same time - one or the other. I was told you can't use both $50 vouchers at the same time.

Joined 13 Jan: Platinum upgrade and benefits available online virtually immediately. Pack arrived today (from NL) - so pretty close to the 4wks advised. 10k bonus points via "Set Your Sights" offer posted 2 days ago.

So far so good, except there is no Free Night Voucher in the pack. Is that a problem?

Just logon to your ihg account, the free night voucher is attached to your account. Look under my offers. Hope that helps

Yes, I know (as per my post). But the 25% voucher included says you must present it to the hotel. I assume the Free Night voucher is the same?

Having said that, I know several knowledgeable members here have said that the vouchers are often not collected - but is there a risk that someone will insist?

Yes I do understand your frustration, but the free night is attached to your account

Got an email offer - A$249 (instead of normal A$319 or US$255) plus $50 dining voucher. So, am thinking seriously of taking it up. However, I have a few (stupid) questions.

1. Why is the fee for US and other countries US$385 - compared to US$255 for Australia? Are the terms and benefits for all countries the same?
2. I understand that the dining benefits are only applicable to participating IHG in Asia Pacific, and not other countries. Is this correct?
3. I understand that the free night is redeemable at any IHG globally (standard room & tax - no brekkie). How easy would it be to redeem it at top IHG hotels? Any experience?

Thanks for your helpful replies.

I received the offer by phone in November; $269 but including $100 on voucher. Mention this only for comparison.

As you note: Dining benefits are only for participating hotels and in "Asia" are very few: one hotel in Singapore, one in Batam but quite a few in China. The agent told me that more hotels in Asia were joining by January 1st but nothing has changed/added. fortunately I told her to ring back after they join.

Am advised that the free night is anywhere and although I haven't tried to book it (as I haven't taken up the membership), I did get 2 free nights from the "Into the nights promotion" and booked the IC Singapore with them so...I suspect "top IHG hotels" are OK but may be subject to availability.

I managed to book a $600/night IC with the voucher. Availability seemed to mirror general award night availability though IHG denied a correlation.
