Spire doesn't seem to have had any 'exciting benefits' added in 2016-or have I missed something?
What happens if you have 2 offers in your profile that overlap? Do you earn on both offers.
For example:
Offer A includes a "Next stay 5,000 bonus points" and
Offer B includes a "Weekend stay 2,000 bonus points".
If if my next stay is a weekend stay I will qualify on both offers. Do I therefore get 7,000 bonus points, or something else?
Thanks.
I'm Spire and you certainly haven't missed anything. Its a very disappointing loyalty level and not worth "trying for"Spire doesn't seem to have had any 'exciting benefits' added in 2016-or have I missed something?
But doesn't that apply to all the IHG levels? At my last stay (3 nights) the only benefit I gained were a few bonus points.......oh, and a newspaper one out of the three mornings! I can't say I'm overwhelmed, but I just may be enticed if I decide to go for Spire as the ask is doable.

FWIW I booked a night at IC Sydney last Friday for the same reason for myself +1 using this rate. All of the usual ambassador goodies were provided along with breakfast for both of us in Cafe Opera with no problems. Sometimes they carry on that the rate only includes breakfast for 2 so not sure how you will go with 3..
Booked a standard twin at Sydney IC for $208. WITH BREAKFAST.
Been upgraded to Deluxe Eastern Harbour View.
Remains to be seen, if the Sydney IC will FULLY honour the 'IHG Rewards Weekend Special' of free breakfast for myself and two children booked into the room.
what if i've 2 bookings (2 different rooms) on the same night, will it be counted as 1 or 2 separate reservations ?
In the past I've had entries like this:

meaning no earning for the overlapping stay ??
No points, and I don't think it was counted as a qualifying night.
thats not good :-(
Only SPG among the big chains allow multiple rooms to credit AFAIK
But you can usually put the whole bill onto 1 room with IHG in my experience. Fine for points but less good for nights credit and some promos
