With Platinum Ambassador - how do free nights get claimed?
If you refer to the free weekend night (or buy one weekend night, get the second free)
You need to go to: intercontinental.com/AMBWeekend, sign in, choose the hotel, then go to the booking page. The rate will be shown as Ambassador Certificate.
When you book, it will show the price for both nights. The hotel removes the second night charge when you hand the certificate over at check-in.
What certificate? Does it allegedly come in the box (I may have already thrown away)?
Gee, thanks oz_mark. That inspires confidence !!

A quick question, I had a Ambassador challenge last year which was 3 nights at 2 different IC to get a free Ambassador status, and there is a renewal due in June.
What do I have to do for a complementary renewal? Or just wait past the renewal date to see?
I do about 25-30+ nights a year.
I'd love to know how to get a Royal Ambassador status this year...
Cheers.
You can renew Ambassador with points. 20,000 IIRC. There is an email or letter as you get close to expiry.A quick question, I had a Ambassador challenge last year which was 3 nights at 2 different IC to get a free Ambassador status, and there is a renewal due in June.
