I'm feeling a bit sad ...[My SC's are getting wiped today... =( ]

Lost 1,775 status credits at the end of August and currently on 0. :). No intention of doing any paid flights with Qantas this year, so I guess down to LTG next year.

Only losing 410 this month. Not too fussed though, have been flying with them for my whole life, last couple of years 26 flights a year between Brisbane and Perth before that it was about 18 a year for 7 years. Find I can hardly make Gold even with that many flights (especially since the loss of double status this year) so have started to test out Virgin the last few months. Have had a few serious problems with Qantas this year (I know they don't care if they lose me as a FF) and I've gone from a staunch Qantas flyer and endorser to having a bit of a sour taste in my mouth and finding Virgin wasn't as bad as I thought. Benefits don't meet the effort or money spent anymore. Next year it'll be 26 flights a year with Virgin.. I guess we'll see how that goes :)

Pretty happy with this year's haul... especially as I didn't set foot on a plane in the past 12 months..

As a side note, the status extension for booking an eligible flight that was to be applied "towards the end of March" is yet to appear.

Was supposed to have my sc wiped last night, but they are still there. I’ve heard of status staying for a few days, but usually the sc are wiped on the status end date right?

I was gifted 600 SCs by Qantas earlier this year to help retain Qantas Platinum by 31st Ocober 2021. Apart from one classic award I booked in March 2021 and took in April 2021 which i believed was the trigger I needed to have an extension of my Qantas Platinum till October 2022, i didn't take any other flights with Qantas....I got platinum extended to October 2022 overnight but my 600 SCs got wiped. Was I wrong to expect the 600 SCs to be carried over?....as they have been wiped now and I now have 0 SCs this membership year, so attaining 1200 SC to retain Platinum by October 2022 is going to be a challenge!

These status keeper SC's were always excluded from being carried over. Other anecdotal evidence confirms this.

I went from 615 to 0 overnight; I expect the 15 (March flight) to be returned in the next few days.

Thanks for the Question and answer on this. Finally made me look into the 500 roll over i got.
Guess I should've stopped earning at 1100, instead of hitting the requalification level. lol
