I'm in the QF Lounge thread

No queue at all this morning, was very happy to breeze through security up until I had to turn right towards the "other" lounges :p

SQ F lounge closed for renovations :(

that is a bummer

QF F lounge was a zoo this morning until 9am after a few flights cleared out, much more sedate now waiting for QF127

last check 1B was vacant still (Iam in 1A) so fingers crossed

no wonder the lounges are up the proverbial with members guesting strangers who have no right to be in there in the first place. If you are travelling with friends or family sure that's why we have that privilege, but just advertising here to any member of the public I don't get it, are you people big noting yourselves or what.

Actually, Qantas tells me

You are welcome to invite family, friends or a colleague to join you in the lounge

No limitation to family and friends. As my guest my frequent flying colleagues certainly do have a right to be in the lounge, if our paths happen to cross.

Enjoy your flight!

I'm in 1A too but on TG, currently only 2 pax in F and so far 1K still vacant, fingers crossed it stays like that.

Edit: the FA just removed all amenities from 1K :)

Back again in T5 Galleries First lounge
3rd time in 6 days, drinking Champers just for a change

HKG Qantas lounge from ~2:30pm-7:30pm.

John you seem to be in that lounge a lot - what is the go with the timing of dinner there?

I note there is a meal of the day to about 8pm - however is there still decent fare until the 11.30 closing?

What time do they stop serving the pork for example? (or is this the meal of the day)

I am not here that often.

Italian meatballs right now, roast potatoes, vegetables and various salads.

Last month I was in QF PER international lounge for dinner. It was awful - crowded, food quality was poor and scant and hardly any service.

I've been several times for breakfast which although busy/crowded was at least a semi decent meal (can't go too wrong with breakfast). But going for dinner is awful.

Other interstate/international QF lounges are much better. I just missed the opening of the new QF PER lounge by a few days and I hope it is better than the last one. Anyone been to the new one yet?

Ah so nice to see a "I'm in the QF Lounge thread" it was long overdue and several years back somebody had the same idea but it never got off the ground and everybody was posting in the VA thread instead.
I ditto has anybody been in the new Perth lounge is it better, same or less than ideal?

Ive got my last flight before getting Platinum again following the birth of my first child.

It is an international flight this Sunday 27th out of Sydney (7.50am) if anyone happens to be Flounging and would like to help me out.

+)

I'm in the new PER J Lounge until QF802 if anyone is around - first visit, nice lounge

Will anyone be in Dubai to guest me into a lounge today? I have a 5hr wait for Dubai-Perth flight

Will be in Dubai in 8hrs
Thank you
