The delicious salmon salads are being served in the SYD lounge right now. Also on offer is a chicken, basil, avocado sanga, and a falafel roll. Plus the usual soups, cheese etc.

The sooner those skinless chicken sausages are gone, the better. Has anyone had one that isn't completely dry and hard?

I've not had them too often, but they've been okay (not dry) at the times I've had them.
Not the most appealing option when I'm there, so I usually leave it as a last choice option.
I wouldn't mind if they replaced them for something else

The ones I had yesterday weren't bad, but the gent behind me muttered "disgusting" when he took a look inside the tray and I thought "you can't please everyone".

No judgement if you were either! Having said that, compared with what we weren't receiving in the Lounge post-COVID and Post-Administration, I'm quite happy with the VA offering...except for the cider!!!

Yeah I think finally what's on offer is completely acceptable now.
Sure, there might be some small improvements here and there, but generally speaking, I'm quite happy with the food and drinks in The Lounge.
My only gripe, I wish they offered Shiraz only wines (not Shiraz Cabernet). 1st world.issues.

SYD flight delayed by about 4hrs and the DPS passengers are here as well as the QR AKL flight passengers

Yea once again it rains a bit in Syd and it all seems to turn to cough! Wife's MEL-SYD flight cancelled tonight after going to the airport. Now a 4:30am wake up for the 6am replacement. Argh...
