That's beautiful.Sydney lounge at 530 tonight was jammed. Think I snagged the last burger at about 545, apologies all. At 6pm, the staff came over the speakers and had a minute's silence for a colleague, Billy, who passed away earlier this week, and had worked in the lounge for the last 10 years.

No issue at all.Weird question, as someone willing to guest someone in, if you're already in the lounge there's no issues with leaving said lounge and then reentering with said guest, or is there another way?
TIA

Yes, in MEL the one tucked in behind the service desk is back onOn the occasions I was in the MEL lounge last year (several months apart), the self-service tea stations (with the hot water, variety of tea bags etc) were all turned off and you had to line up in the "coffee queue" to get a cup of tea which seemed rather odd, but assume this was due to COVID restrictions. Are these back in operation now?
It was an absolute pain to have to stand in a long queue just to be able to get hot water and a teabag in a cup. There was only one barista station operating during the times I was in the lounge and the poor girl was really under the pump, so I'm hoping they've reinstated the self service for the sake of the staff as well as the passengers.
Great, thank you!Yes, in MEL the one tucked in behind the service desk is back on
Was in BNE Friday morning and had the breaky wrap - pretty tasty. The sign also said pancakes with maple syrup, but they must have been the light version cause I couldn't see them anywhereGood morning from a very quiet BNE lounge! Here for 20 minutes, can guest two.
Breakfast is "breakfast wrap" with scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and baked beans, but it's being prepared and served behind the counter rather than self serve.
Pancake machine is generally at the far end of the counter...was it not out??Was in BNE Friday morning and had the breaky wrap - pretty tasty. The sign also said pancakes with maple syrup, but they must have been the light version cause I couldn't see them anywhere
Possibly was that - I assumed it was the toast machine. Last time I was in the BNE lounge I remember being served pancakes by the staff so assumed it would be same again.Pancake machine is generally at the far end of the counter...was it not out??
All good. Toaster is in the middle-ish, to the left of the bar fridges.Possibly was that - I assumed it was the toast machine. Last time I was in the BNE lounge I remember being served pancakes by the staff so assumed it would be same again.
Not an issue. Worst case, explain yourself to the front desk.Might be a silly question but for you guesting experts, are there ever any issues with the lounge member arriving on their own first, then having a guest arrive at the lounge later?
I suppose they tick off whether you have already brought in a guest when you first arrive at the lounge but I haven't encountered this before so wasn't sure!
I have had a guest that was planning to arrive at the MEL lounge 30 mins after me. I discussed this with the staff member at the lounge when I arrived and she said no problem. When he showed up, I scanned my boarding pass and added 1 guest, he scanned his and in we went.Might be a silly question but for you guesting experts, are there ever any issues with the lounge member arriving on their own first, then having a guest arrive at the lounge later?

Absolutely not an issue, have done this many times. I usually tell the agents of this in a way so they don't think I'm sneaking in more people than the limit (which I'm not). The way the SYD lounge in particular is, it's bursting at the seams at the times I'm flying.Might be a silly question but for you guesting experts, are there ever any issues with the lounge member arriving on their own first, then having a guest arrive at the lounge later?
