Just checked out the Cruise Critic roll call for the cruise. It's not the most active roll call I've ever seen, but interesting to read what the OS pax are looking forward to. Good contribution from one of our own also

I was talking about their expectations where KI is high on their list. MrP not surprised as KI is frequently touted by shrewd overseas travellers as THE place in Australia to visit. I think given current forecasts the water will be crystal clear and calm which will be fabulous.

Was watching the Qantas safety message last night where the last scenes is a flight crew departing from Port Lincoln. Does Qantas even fly there?

Sunset over SA last night. Had been 39 during the day. Again.


I think the only time we will need wifi is late Sat through to Monday first thing. We might pick up a signal along the coast. We did last time.

As this draws closer I'm disappointed I will be missing it, but I'm still not 100% back to normal... eating asparagus the other night was sore and broccolini last night too painful. My jaw isn't ready for meals with friends yet!

Is this still from the major mouth surgery you had a while back? Hopefully it’s getting better.

Well, lots of lightening and thunder but no rain. Still hottish today. Slightly cooler tomorrow then ramping up just for our cruise. Usually it’s MrP who leaves me home in a heat wave but this time it’s him. A few years ago he flew to NZ after a few days heat and said ‘oh well, it will be cooler when I get back’. It wasn’t. Stayed hot for the week after he got back as well. And he dared complain to me!!!!

Last time I sailed from MEL-DPO I had at least 3G signal the whole way. So I reckon we should be pretty right for most of the trip along the coast.
