Is Hobart the worst Qantas Club in Australia?

I was in HBA recently, and Would say the QC HBA have great staff but the worst facilities and offerings fr a Capital city.


the flights seem full going there, should they improve their ground product?

Airbridges at some stage as well?

Comments/views?

The fact that it is outside security is a bit of a PITA.. otherwise, yes it is very small and does not offer much - surely in a whole year they could change the food menu! Every time I go it is the same. Well, the only thing I notice is the soup changes, but does that count?

OP mentioned Capital City. Otherwise I'm tossing in Port Hedland Captain's Lounge (though strictly not QC entry rules are the same except no guests).

There's probably enough pollies in HBA to keep QF afloat. Well, something is filling up the damn J class everytime you look at the QF flights!


As for worse QP in a capital city in Australia? Well, hard to argue against that one... but if it's there only to keep pollies happy with a bite and a beer, why bother, really........ ditto aerobridges, let alone international services...

For a capital city they should pick up the act!!!

Sure you can - you can use Facebook, Twitter or their online form. I think there's even an email for the Qantas Club.

They take notice in theory, though you shouldn't be betting on getting a personal response unless you have a deep grievance.

Used to host a couple of international flights eons ago (I think to New Zealand and the like). Now the only one it does have is non-commercial flights to Antarctica (which may not be considered 'international' since the flight lands in Australian Antarctic Territory).

I saw something about some long term master plan that HBA wants to become international again........
