"Island Dining" in the Domestic J lounges: Tips, Timing & Menus

Would seem they are now a feature in the J lounges

I was here for this - it was offered from about 4pm until 6pm. I thought it was cute, but was saving myself for island dining. Had no idea this was replacing it.

FWIW, it was a sausage in a bun, onion jam, mustard, tomato sauce and cheese.
 
They've achieved their objective as I no longer bother going in. You can't even get a bit of cheese and a couple of crackers. Great place to chill if you like party pies, popcorn and Smith's Crisps. Mmmmmmm!

Wait til they introduce the snack bags on the CBR flights and do away with the trays for all other meal services, will be stunning.

What is now a feature in the lounge? That link does not show me anything about the lounge.

Given I was referencing a quote saying hot dogs are not lounge food, and the picture shows Hot Dogs in the Sydney J lounge.........the answer is somewhat obvious even without the text:
