Hi all,
I had quite a dull trip to Auckland this week. I somehow managed to book both trips, over and back, on Jetconnect flights. Sure, they were the normal Qantas flights, but I had a couple of quite pleasant experiences on both legs.
The flight over (QF141) was early. Sure it left Sydney at 6:15 am, and I really don't do mornings. NO! I mean it landed around half an hour early! That was a great bonus in New Zealand. That's never happened to me before!
And on the flight back. Well, no such luck. But it was the "Jean Batten", a brand new B737-800. It's so new and shiny. Screens in each seat, and each seat has USB connections next to the monitors. Why don't the normal Qantas 737s have this? That was one bonus. The other, partly to do with Jetconnect, was my rapid transit through baggage and customs. My bag was in the first ten out - and I was flying economy!
So ... in short ... top marks for Jetconnect.
