JQ58 on Saturday 7 October was airborne from BNE at 0857 (this is the 0810 hours BNE - MEL that earlier came in from DPS, B788 VH-VKL) with MEL arrival suggested at 1217 hours, 42 minutes late.

JQ437, the 1150 OOL - MEL took off at 1244 (A321 Vh-VWT) with predicted arrival becoming 1607, 52 late due to the aircraft unusually having to hold east of Bendigo, Vic on a Saturday afternoon with good weather - hardly the number one expected time for a holding pattern.

Later on Saturday 7 October, JQ523, the 1820 hours early evening from SYD down to MEL that was in the sky at 1921 should pull in to the southern capital at roughly 2038 hours, 43 minutes late.

JQ35 (B788 VH-VKJ, the 1845 hours MEL - DPS that was in the sky at 1914) looks set to arrive at 2220 hours late this evening local time, 35 minutes tardy.

The 1845 hours TSV - MEL (JQ917) was in the sky at 1945. A321 VH-VWT should arrive at 2340, 50 late.

JQ632 (Sunday 8 October 0905 hours AVV across to ADL, A320 VH-VQG) took off at 0938. Arrival is predicted at 1028, 33 minutes late.

Returning from ADL to AVV, JQ633 (same aircraft) is estimated to arrive at 1245 hours, 35 minutes late.
This will delay JQ604, the 1240 hours AVV up to SYD.

Later on 8 October, JQ521, 1600 hours SYD - MEL that did not take off until 1839 (A321 VH-VWZ) should arrive at 2004, 149 minutes tardy, continuing this carrier's reputation for unpunctuality on the busy SYD - MEL - SYD route.

A heavy storm looks to be about to hit MEL at about 1940 local time.

UPDATE: JQ521 has been further delayed to an expected at gate time of roughly 2013, 158 minutes behind the timetable.

The MCY - MEL JQ795 with A320 VH-VQC, the 1615 hours that was in the sky at 1742 shoul darrive at about 2028 hours, 43 late. AT 1959 it was in a hold above Colbinabbin, Vic.

Tuesday 10 October sees JQ37, the 1740 hours SYD to DPS )B788 VH-VKE) having taken off at 1825. Arrival should be at 2137, 32 late.

Wednesday 11 October sees JQ134, the mid afternoon 1550 hours AKL - OOL that took off at 1656 with A320 VH-VGQ likely to arrive at 1707 hours, 42 minutes tardy.

JQ7 (1200 hours 'high noon' MEL - SIN) is estimated to depart at 1000 on Thursday 12 October, a 22 hour delay. Presumably this affects JQ8 as well but the Melbourne Airport website strangely does not list tomorrow's arrival.

The 1815 hours MEL - SYD, JQ522, is expected to depart 45 minutes late. JQ521 (1600 SYD - MEL) took off at 1658 with A321 VH-VWZ and is predicted to arrive at 1824 hours, 39 minutes tardy.

UPDATE: JQ522 did not become airborne until 1914 hours, so arrival has become 2036, 56 minutes behind schedule.

Friday 13 October sees JQ702 (1015 hours HBA - MEL that took off at 1046, A320 VH-VGI) likely to arrive at 1200 'high noon', half an hour late.

While many of us may not believe in superstition, Friday 13 October is unlucky for JQ84 passengers in that this 0700 hours DRW - ADL took off this afternoon at 1422, about seven hours behind schedule. Arrival should be at 1837 instead of 1140, 417 minutes tardy for aircraft A320 VH-VGR. VH-VGR. JQ83 had departed DRW this morning (small hours) about 80 minutes late for DPS where arrival was at about 0151 hours, 76 late, but the longest delay was in DPS with JQ82 (scheduled 0120 hours departure) being replaced by JQ1082 that was in the sky at 0848, arriving DRW at about 1242 this afternoon.

Saturday 14 October's JQ30 (2140 hours BKK - MEL, B788 VH-VKJ) was in the sky at 2237. Sunday 15 sees it arriving at 1107 hours, 37 minutes behind the timetable.

JQ7 from MEL to SIN is frequently late while in the past couple of years it has been cancelled multiple times. On Sunday 15, this scheduled 1210 hours flight with the aforementioned VH-VKJ took off at 1255; arrival in the Lion City should be at 1732 late this afternoon local time, 42 late.

B788 VH-VKF (JQ27, the 1525 hours SYD up to HKT that was not pointing skywards until 1633) is expected to be delayed in arriving at 2148 tonight local time, 63 minutes late.

Wednesday 18 October's JQ1 (1740 hours MEL - HNL, B788 VH-VKH) was in the sky at 1823, about 25 minutes late, so same day predicted arrival has become 0741 hours, 36 minutes behind schedule.

JQ626 (Thursday 19 October 1050 hours from HBA up to MEL that took off at 1132, A320 VH-VQH) should arrive at roughly 1249, 39 minutes late.

VH-VFV on JQ772, the 1110 hours from MEL across to ADL that was airborne at 1140 should arrive at around 1230 hours, half an hour tardy.
