Extensive delays are continuing into the afternoon of Monday 25 September due to the 0520 hours Sydney Airport radar failure. JQ605 (0755 hours SYD - AVV) took off at an extremely late 1259 hours, almost five hours late with suggested arrival for A320 VH-XSJ at 1431, 301 minutes late.
In turn, this will delay JQ630, the scheduled 1030 hours from AVV up to OOL until what the Avalon Airport website underestimates as 1435 hours. A more realistic departure time would have been 1505 hours, but in the end it took off at 1519 with A320 VH-XSJ landing at 1701 hours. Its next duty is JQ631, the 1235 hours from OOL back down to AVV that will also be around five hours late.
The 1330 BNE - MEL (JQ565, A320 VH-VGD) took off at a very late 1520 hours mid afternoon. Arrival should be at around 1754, 114 minutes behind schedule.
JQ438 (A320 VH-VQJ, the 1405 hours MEL - OOL that was in the sky at 1539) should arrive 88 minutes tardy at 1733 late this afternoon.
The 1430 hours HBA up to MEL (A320 VH-VQW, JQ712) was airborne at 1517; arrival should be at 1624, 39 minutes late.
JQ711 (scheduled 1450 hours MEL down to HBA, A320 VH-VFU) was airborne at 1654. Its arrival is expected at 1802, 117 minutes late.
