I am going to go against the spirit of this thread and give a very isolated thumbs up for JQ

I flew JQ36 on the new Dreamliner, Monday morning MEL-SYD out of Int Term


great experience, nice and quiet, and enjoyed the flight


F lounge and 1/3 full cabin may have helped though.


apart from the 3/3/3 cabin, can't help thinking would be a great replacement for QF767 on SYD-MEL routes in peak times

Im doing both a mel-syd and a syd-mel next month on the 787 too. Looking forward to using the F lounges on my DSC MASA achieved QFWP on my JQ PBG airfares

Just be careful they don't cancel one of the legs for "operational" reasons (ie poor loading).

i had "paid up" ($139 vs $89) to be on the Friday 520 PM SYD-MEL (int term) last Friday and ended up on QF643

Well there is nothing I can 'be careful' about - it happens or it doesn't. No biggie, I need to travel on the day anyway and I got a good price with PBG
