Rang Qantas FF Centre yesterday morning and emailed them the Jet* boarding passes...Points posted by 7.00pm last night...Well done Qantas;)

I'm now at a little over 3 weeks since filling out the on line QF form for a JQ flight HNL-SYD. I had one last year which posted before I got home from the airport! They are all over the shop. I haven't chased up yet as the timing is not critical for renewal or anything so I'll see how long they take.

Doesn't anyone in QF care that this sort of delay is a very bad look for QF too?

My points and SCs posted today, 5 weeks after the flight. Should I be grateful? ;)

So far I have been very lucky with JQi and 3K points posting usually within 3 days. Surprisingly, my last JQi points posted before my luggage arrived (2days for the luggage)! Seems some members getting very hit and miss for this issue.

My points from JQ4 on 3 January still haven't posted (I know it's not the 6-8 weeks!) although my JQ3 points posted almost immediately.

I complained on Qantas.com on 10 or 11 Jan and had a call back the next day, asking me to scan my boarding passes and send by email. I complained at the same time on Jetstar, and just had a call (7pm or so, Sunday evening) which was to inform me that QFF points *never* post automatically, and passengers must always log in to Qantas Frequent Flyer after travelling and "claim missing points". I said that is wrong, as my outbound flight saw the points post automatically. The guy who called me didn't respond to that - he just repeated that I would need to log in and claim the points.

I did so, but received an error that the points claim has already been logged (as I assume QFF customer service did this on my behalf).

Red Roo, can you help?
You said here in Feb 2011 that the problem was fixed. Clearly it is not.

My points still haven't posted. Red Roo replied to a PM stating it would be 6-8 weeks.

Yes, flew to Honolulu last June 11 on Jetstar star class. JQ3 (outbound) points only took 2 days but JQ4 (return trip) took two months despite lodging claim after two weeks

My JQ4 points and status credits from 3 Jan finally posted yesterday - 5 weeks after the flight.

The rest of my family finally received their points and sc's from JQ4 yesterday as well.....flight taken on January 10th...Thankfully dont have any further J* flights booked:)

Looks like it may be batch processing then?

Yesterday, I received points SC's from flights taken 9 & 10 January - I claimed ~Jan 17th.

Nothing for Jan 28th as yet (I put a claim in Friday).

...and yet flights taken on 29 Jan and 8 Feb both posted next day for me.

For claims made through the QF website, it is done in a batch and all manually entered. This can be up tp 6000 records for 3-4 weeks, with about 5% actually points earning fares.

I recently flew Melbourne Singapore return business max, Melb-Sing had SC and points posted next day and return leg on the same day. Just lucky I guess:)

I wonder if there is a problem with Jetstar Internet booking system as I booked an international flight with them a couple of months ago and only had one of the three QFF numbers at the time which I am sure I had inputted when booking online. As flight is still a couple of months away I rang up yesterday to add the other two FF numbers but they had NONE of them against the booking when I rang.

It used to be that the JQ Flightspeed reservations system could only accept QF ff numbers in ten digit format so if you called JQ up you'd have to add 2 extra zeroes at the beginning of your ffn & one at the end so if your QF ffn is 0234567 it would become 0002345670.

I wonder if the problem is that if the QF goes off to JQ as a 7 digit number it won't show up at all in JQ. Maybe it's worth calling JQ & giving them the number in the ten digit format & see if that makes a difference.

Is the issue with missing JQ4 points when the pnr is wholly booked through the JQ system or does it occur also when booked through the QF website.

I have had two occasions where points posted promptly the next day.

a) QF8/JQ35 combo booked on QF website using multicity tool - the JQ35 flight actually posted before the QF8!

b) JQ domestic flight BNE/CNS single sector itinerary booked through JQ website where points posted the next day. I'm fairly certain I just entered my QF ffn as is ie in the 7 digit format not the 10 digit.

Yes not sure. When I booked JQ3 and JQ4 last year it was on Jetstar website. JQ3 was next day crediting of points and JQ4 was 6 weeks (and after lodging missing point request with Qantas after about two weeks).
You would think they could sort that simiple IT problem out pretty easily. It not as if only a few Jetstar passengers have QFF numbers. They also have a spot for the number on the Jeststar booking page.

And it is extremely painful to ring up Jetstar and talk to the computer for a few minutes and then to an operator and then the 20 questions etc to prove who you are and then give them the numbers. But if it helps reduce the six week wait for points and SC I suppose it is worth it.

I had an AA business class flight and the systems were down so they had to do the tickets manually. It’s been 3 weeks since my flight. I Have put in the claim for the points. I have my ticket stub, but it’s very faded and hand written. Should I email them my itinerary? All the other points from trip have been credited.

My JQ 4 points in J still have not posted. 5 weeks now. Have sent qf a claim, but not holding my breath.

It seems I am in the same boat (plane) as others. It is the inconsistency that gets me.

JQ464 MEL-BNK points posted
JQ465 BNK-MEL nothing and the flights were on the same day (different pnrs though)!

I am also waiting for JQ8 SIN-MEL from 3 weeks ago, after receiving points from all other flights ex/to SIN within a couple of days.

I spoke to QFF and lodged claims after 1 week, so now I am waiting the "14 business days".

Trouble is these are the difference between me being SG and getting WP for the first time, so it takes the shine off a little.

Fortunately I have kept the BPs, so I can scan and email if worst comes to worst.

The only way for me to get the points and sc posted is to scan and email them to qff after waiting 5 weeks! Qff themselves admitted jq has a problem posting points across.
