Did this get sorted? I still haven't had my issue resolved....

I have attempted to contact BMI via their web support and via email 4 times this year to try and get the issue resolved.
Firstly was a web feedback to BMI Diamond Club. (no response).
Second was a web feedback to BMI Web Support. (no response).
Third was an email to BMI Diamond Club indicating this was my third try. (No Response).
Fourth was another email to BMI Diamond Club indicating the issue and that it was my fourth attempt at getting it resolved.

No reply from any of the attempts at contacting them. I have given up!

Maybe it's time to call them - I got +44 1332 64 8181 off their website.

Well after all that, finally got a reply back from my 3rd contact I made and they are referring it to the e-commerce team. Have only been trying to resolve for over 6 weeks now...

And problem finally resolved. I can now see my 11500 miles. Things work slow when it comes to DC...

OK, well, I might start following up my problem again. I've fired off several emails to no avail. Might be a bit stuck not having my number though!

OK, another survey arrives with the ptUniqueiD in it. Guess its time for another follow up:)

Yes 2500 points for doing a survey.

A nice little add on to the first 9000 points...or as they gave my wife two lots of points..9000 and 18,000.

This is my type of FF program:)

And only 22,500 points + 150 GBP in Business Class. I'm thinking Tahiti on NZ sounds like a good deal with Bus Premier accross the ditch.

And BMI has a very generous hotel points system. 1,000 points per stay seems pretty good if you do a few 1 night trips here and there. Wouldn't be too hard to wrack up the points.

Thanks to the OP, website didn't like me for a few days but points have posted now.

Zone 9 redemptions for 15,000 points. One way for 7500.

Does anyone have link to the reward table so that I can check out route options please?

With the latest survey points I have 10500 points and my wife has 20500 and so it looks like I can at least start to think about a possible flight:)

Also a second question. Can one transfer points in BMI to a family member, and gain awards for family members?

In my case 10500 + 20500 = 31000 which would get two 15000 award flights?????

No you can't transfer miles, however you can redeem awards in their names. Note though that one way awards cost exactly 50% of return awards and you could redeem a series of one way awards with what each of you have, ie you could make a one way redemption for yourself, and she could make a return redemption for herself plus a one way redemption for you. In any case it's better to make them all one ways as not only is it more flexible, you also get an enroute stopover on each redemption - so by breaking returns into one ways you get the option of an extra stopover.

Thanks guys.

The responses from all 3 of you were helpful.

From this Diamond Club how to spend miles. it is pretty clear what I need.
The tip on one way flights is most useful to know.

For Zone 9, (Australia (including Tasmania), Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Norfolk Islands, Tonga,Western Somoa) 30000 points (or 15000 + £100) for return looks attractive.

The +cash option for this Zone given the normal cost of the longer flights would look to be great value.
Very Interesting to that Business is only an extra 50% (by points and cash).

Planning HKG-ARN, ARN-GRU, EZE-LAX-HKG (if they allow a stopover in LAX for South America-Far East) for Dec. J and F availability on *A aplenty....:D

...just not on the days I want. :-|

Awesome value with Cash and Miles and it's practically a RTW award.
HKG-ARN (probably via ZRH, MUC or FRA but I could push the envelope and go via SIN): 25K for F
ARN-GRU (hopefully via ZRH): 25k for F
EZE-HKG (hopefully allowing stopover in LAX as my enroute stop): 50K for F

The cash bit does pile up, adds up to approx GBP680. I think of it as getting to fly in F at whY prices. :)

Got the first bit done... and with this I conclude that DC is truly like stealing candy from a baby.

HKG-ARN Zone8-Zone2, 25 000 + GBP170 for F.

Here's the routing I ended up with:
HKG-SIN SQ F
SIN-LHR SQ F
LHR-ARN SK C

:D :D :D

Was another GBP100 or so in tax and fuel fines.

Full miles was this would've been 50 000, but I reckon the cash offset is pretty nice value.

Such a shame LX/LH had no availability in F hey. ;)

Hang on, I must be reading this chart wrong, but isn't that the number needed for the economy award? And you need 2x for F? (still a bargain I think)

Mine is a one way award. The chart shows return awards. One way awards cost 50% of return awards.
One-way journeys will be charged at half the number of miles and miles plus cash.
So it always makes sense to do one ways even if you want a return trip as you get an extra enroute stopover (1 free enroute stopover per *A redemption), and it's more flexible.

In this case I'm stringing together my own RTW award per post 95. I still have yet to find my way to GRU (another 25k), and back to HKG (50k). So 100k +cash all in F, much cheaper than the RTW award (200k + cash in F) and I get free enroute stops with each of the 3 redemptions and so if i really wanted to exhaust every single stopover I end up with almost the same number of stops as if I were doing the RTW award.

Step 2 complete, with 1 stopover in AMS for 25 000 miles + GBP170 (and GBP127 in taxes + fuel):
ARN-AMS SK C
AMS-MUC LH C
MUC-GRU LH F

This one was a bit tougher with availability (LH via FRA and LX via ZRH booked out on all the days I could travel).

Will complete the set with step 3 once i work out my dates.

Has anyone tried doing a one-way award Zone 9 - Zone 9 with a stopover? e.g. BNE-AKL-MEL or BNE-AKL-NAN ???

NB, latest signup offer is only 3,000 miles.
