Anyone having difficulty logging into their Diamond Club account at the moment? I tried getting in and kept getting password failures, so submitted forgotten password request and the new password they sent me also failed. :( Keen to see if the OZ flights I took last week have credited.

Aaah thanks QF009, followed the advice on the FT link and logged in from bmi homepage (as opposed to the page I have bookmarked), and worked fine :) Miles through, and I'm now blueplus whatever that's worth.

Good see I wasn't the only one having problems. Thanks guys.

By the way, has anyone had any luck getting J flights to anywhere in the South Pacific? I have been trawling the ANA tool for two seats to anywhere (RAR, VLI, etc) next June/July/August and am not getting much.

Are there any interesting routes that might come into play? This is one holiday that will be dictated by where I can get seats.

I also noted QF009 flight to MAU but again seats are pretty slim.

Make sure you are searching direct, eg AKL-RAR, etc. You do get a free stopover each way if you redeem as one-way awards, so make use of it.

Do a 'segment by segment' search. As for Hawaii, remember you can get to the mainland via Asia... that should alleviate the difficulty of finding seats on NZ.

2500 miles for survey

Just got an email from BMI with an easy 2,500 miles for doing a one page survey. I think it is targeted by the look of the link.

Nothing for me this time round. Maybe it was because of my increasingly terse messages to BMI about access to my account :)

We are probably earning more points from all the surveys and promos than someone who flies with bmi every month. :D

I've not received one... come to think of it, I've never received any of their surveys.

You can try to adjust the settings in your bmi account, to receive promotional materials etc. That may work, although there is no telling with bmi's notorious IT systems.

I got the survey too, but wasn't eligible.

9,000 miles welcome bonus terms and conditions | Fly bmi

Looks like the 9,000 mile bonus offer is there again:

• To qualify for 9,000 destinations miles, one return bmi flight (or two one-way flights) must be taken before 31 October 2008.
• The 9,000 destinations miles for your free flight will be added to your diamond club account 28 working days after you have qualified, and can only be spent on the named recipient of the account.
And they've fixed some of the loopholes people were using.
