KLM matching Status

Yes, I signed up on the day this thread was posted and got my match about 8 days later, but if you didn’t sign up right away, expect a longer delay.


Membership type: Gold
Since: 03/28/2011

will give it some more time. Did my request on the 21st of March

I applied on the 19th and haven't heard anything yet. Looks like they might be matching higher tiers first. Could also have something to do with that my card says my QF PS expires at the end of April even though I've re-qualified for another year.

My status match just got approved - now I'm Flying Blue Silver (was Marco Polo Silver)

Platinum match came through overnight. All I need to do now is try and sneak at least one AF/KLM flight in this year and test out the "soft landing" to Gold

So now I have had top status in all three major alliances.

The only problem is that I still get no lounge access when flying in India.

I'm SG, no idea what happened there??

Can I reapply to get my Gold status comped, or do they have an email I can contact them on?

Same here (if ivory=bronze), also yesterday and I'm WP. I assumed it was simply an acknowledgment of my joining up and that they hadn't processed the status match yet?

Sorry - they comped me Ivory. Guess they were attributing my QF Gold card as a QF Bronze?

I received their "Congratulations Email" - stating I was now Ivory.

Hopefully, they are in the process of comping it to Gold, but seemed odd. . . .

I suspect ozmille has it right.

It was (for me at least) a clear two step process: 1) Join and become ivory then 2) apply for the status match (even if the two steps were only a minute or so apart).

I've received the welcome mail, but not yet the status match (but I only applied on the 31st, so expect to be waiting a week or three)

Got my congratulations email at 4pm today, confirming platinum status match.

I applied on 19th March. Now I must find a way to fly at least one ST flight and access one F lounge

I was already matched, but funnily enough just received this email, which should help calm those that have yet to be matched:

I got the same email as you, Samh004.

I was a bit confused as to why the senders address seemed to be Flying Blue Austria.... wondering now if I hit the wrong button for country on registering!
