Now what's the AFF acronym for Flying Blue Platinum? FB WP, AF WP, KL WP or should I just update my profile to "Status Chaser" ;p

Maybe we could create several levels of Status Chaser?

Status Chaser Silver has Silver in 2 or more programs, or Gold/Platinum in one
Status Chaser Gold has Gold or Platinum in 2 programs
Status Chaser Platinum has Gold in 3 or more programs, or Platinum in 1 and Gold/Silver in 2 other programs
Status Chaser CL has Platinum in 3 programs - 1 each in *A, OW and SkyTeam

That’s not correct, but as they’re really busy matching others right now it might be hard for you to complain and be bumped up higher. Seems a little odd though.

I would go with FB Plat.

QC Life, QFF Plat, is important to me, nothing else matters, I guess it was the one status I have always wanted and really don't care much about the others, although this latest status match means I can try a few new airlines.

I was happy to have top status in OW and *A, but the only thing that scares me about top status in ScaryTeam is that I might be tempted to fly DL !!

Oooohhh.....

LOL, I have the same trepidation now with booking a flight with Air France.

I might have to try AF on the A380, and add a 4th airline to my A380 travels.

Had anyone worked out how long the elite status applies for?

Is it for the rest of; your current FB term, calendar year, equal to your matched FF year???

I joined FB for this primo in Mar, and QFF renewal is Feb. Just working how long I have to make the most of this freebie. FB account page doesn't seem to indicate status re-assessment period.

It's calendar year -- any status acquired with this status match should expire at the end of this year (unless you requalify of course); from the Air France website:

On 31 December, your Level Miles/qualifying flights balance from the previous 12 months is checked to see if your membership level needs to be downgraded or can stay the same for the following year. On 1 January of each year, this balance is reset to zero.

They're on my no-fly list.

Even though I only have status with DJ and List them on the status matching deal, I contacted them to status match my Velocity Silver.
I finally received the reply that they had matched me to flying blue - silver membership.... Not a bad outcome.... Just spewing that I couldnt apply in 1 months time as I will be Velocity Gold then.... maybe worth an email?
