I called up again today to express my displeasure. They charged my credit card US$300 for 4 PAX miles reinstatement fee and seem to think that it’s acceptable to still be holding the circa $800 + 363k miles refund I’m owed two month later. Was given the same “I will escalate for you” nonsense again. Not happy at all.
Called again on Sunday afternoon and got the same “I will expeditor now for you” nonsense, this time with the promise of a callback on Monday to explain what’s going on. Of course the call back never came.
Finally sick of waiting and called again today. Told it will be expedited again. That was enough for me - totally unacceptable, a total joke etc etc. Apparently those words were enough for him to go and process the refund immediately (which actually just highlights to me what a joke the whole thing is). Let’s see if he actually does it!
