KUL SIN lounge crawl 7 June 2015

For those looking at QF flights out of SIN on 7 June, the following flights are currently listed as having the new config:

QF36 SIN-MEL 19:55
QF52 SIN-BNE 20:50

So if you must fly direct into SYD, unfortunately, you'll at best have a very slopey sleep.

QF52 has lost the new config... so only QF36 has the new seats.

That's excellent news. Also, the party flight seems to be the 10:15 MH627 at the moment. Haven't really heard from the others but Jess and I are booked on it. So you definitely don't want to change that flight. Either way, I would say that the highlight in KUL would be the breakfast in the MH satellite F restaurant, so as long as you tick this off the list, that's most of the work done.

Sadly, I've received some news/rumours that the BA lounge will be closed for a few months for a major refurb, and it's unlikely that we will see it open during our visit. But we'll see, I guess.

Hi everyone, I've been off AFF for quite a few months... maybe 6 or more now!?

Anyway, I've made some bookings in the past few months. I'll arrive from Perth into KL early on June 3 so can still get my 100 SC out of QF! Haven't decided KUL-SIN, I will try to add MH627 in another booking if that is seems to be the popular one. Otherwise I have a 3K KUL-SIN coupon to use up eventually. Finally I booked a few weeks ago onto QF36, that's me in 4A but not sure whether I'll keep this booking. There are a few issues with it but currently booked to fly on to AKL afterward. It would be my first QF flight since... well the last lounge run!

Unsure whether I'll stay in KL or Malaysia at all, might have time for a CMB turn around and/or just chill in Singapore. If I am staying in KL it will probably be around KL sentral... HH gold & SPG plat so there are plenty of choices. I seem to be in SIN & KUL every couple weeks during the past year but I'm looking forward to seeing you all.

So I am highly considering rebooking onto one of the SYD flights, looks like the configs are a little fluid anyway. I have a broken itinerary which would probably be best to cancel/refund and rebook however the availability for the QF36 is gone. If I can accept the uncomfortable Skybed on more time I can get myself at least an extra 80 SC and have a QF SC offer which should net an additional 140 SC. It's a return booking so will still get the suite on the way back. I'm sure you all won't hold it against me either way.
