KUL SIN lounge crawl 7 June 2015

I was reminded of this little event so need to take a serious look at it, I had been considering heading to Europe for a 10 day trip in June but maybe a few days in Asia is a little more affordable and won't need so much time off work.

Emerald with one guest spot.

Did I read something about slumber rooms in the Kul lounge, or was that a dream?

MH Private rooms indeed exist. Not flash like the CX cabanas but at least it's a real bed. You'll have to surrender the boarding pass to secure the room, dunno why!

Will look to join if I can find a good ex HKG MH J fare. Anyone overnighting in KUL at a SPG property?

What's the latest on timing for the planned day/weekend of activities? Am looking to see if I can squeeze this in and book flights to pop down from HKG. Please advise!

I'm not sure there is anything too fixed on timing. There was some talk of dinner in KUL on Saturday night. A number are on mh627 to SIN at about 10:15 possibly to make lunch near the airport somewhere. Then I think I might be on the earliest SIN departure qf36 to MEL at about 1930.

That's MH627 on Sunday at 10am for lunch in Singapore then QF SIN lounge from around 3 or 4ish?

Tempted to come down to KUL for the day. Will look properly for flights and decide soon by this weekend.

Possibly. I should've mentioned that I haven't kept up with exact plans. If we're to do multiple SIN lounges it might be a bit earlier to the airport there.

Sounds about right.

I don't think a SIN lunch location has been decided yet.

I'll take that as a hint. ;)

I have a couple of places in mind that are fairly close to the airport, but I need to confirm that they are indeed open on Sundays for lunch. Land-side transport option will mostly depends on the number of attendees.

Is any of the A330 departing from SIN on that day showing the new config plane? I had the old plane last week and it was absolutely woeful. I will never choose row 23 again, ended up with a leg cramp for not being able to stretch the legs.

Only QF36 is showing the new config. However, it still wouldn't resolve the issue with row 23.
