I tend to agree with the observation there aren't many solo female travellers in the business lounges worldwide.
That sort of tells me something and I hope it is not taken as sexist.
Men are comfortable travelling alone.
I was thinking that more men hold positions that require considerably more flying, over women - that's not meant as a sexist remark, more an observation. I'm sure women are happy to travel alone also - but I'd wager that the jobs that have a high number of hours required to fly, are filled by more men than women.
I was a regular F lounge soloist, until I moved to Asia and QF was no longer a suitable choice for flights. Now I barely retain silver, the jostling for your buck in the region by umpteen airlines, means clients are rather loath to pay for an airline that has a reputation (i.e.: I am happy to fly with. ), and some places are only serviced by the big red A - AirAsia!!!
Would be interesting to see the jobs our solo female frequent flyers have and how many of us there are.
