List me as a maybe. I am in Australia on the 18th for sure (although can't attend the AGM due to commitments elsewhere). The 17th is still TBC. TBH you probably have a better chance of seeing me in QLD, even though I "live" in Melbourne.

I've just spoken to the Melbourne Lounge manager who has given the all clear for this function, there will be an area cordoned off for us with some little extra surprises/delicacies arranged through the night. I'm now working to find any brave souls from Virgin Australia that might be interested in attending.

For those that are confirmed to attend, or think they might end up making it, would you please PM me your full name so I can send a list of who is attending to the girls/guys at the front desk so they know to let you straight through, I know most of you by name, but just in case send it through again. Unless you feel the need to whip out your Platinum card so everybody knows how important you are (I’m looking at you TonyHancock) you don’t need to worry about lounge entry requirements. They are expecting us.

Moi? Porkies? Never!!!! :shock: I'm a proud VA Platinum FF. I have however been cast aside by Virgin Money and it has left me broken, nay destroyed! My first credit card rejection....ever.....I didn't step out of the mansion for three days!

I noticed that QFF Platinum has disappeared from your Profile. Are you too ashamed to be carrying around that card now? I have to say, VA's Plat card is much shinier.

I see myself as a Virgin Plat more than a QFF WP LTG PG soon to be P1 etc etc. (I'll be a real one by April too!) I'm loving domestic priority boarding on DJ/VA and upgrading to J is a doddle.

Ok, I'm in.

Just booked a (LOL) Business fare with Air Australia, arriving in MEL around 5pm (and yes, my travel insurance is up to date). Total cost is around $300 (Looks like their AMEX merchant account is gone, but MC/VI/DC are accepted with surcharges). Really not much more than flying Economy with the other airlines at that time of day...

Coming back I'll be much less adventurous, will probably book QF to tie in with one of the FT AGM flights.
