Note to all: LTG means nothing to crew! I suppose it's logical when you think about it.

While the crew don't get to see your Lifetime Gold status in theory your PCV should increase once Lifetime Gold which puts you a little higher up the ladder. May not sound like much but can be beneficial in certain situations.

Currently sitting on 13970SC with a flexi from OOL to MEL tomorrow to put me on the magic 14000 LTG I think I will get more fanfare in the OOL lounge from the local friendly staff that any recognition. lol still a WP so all good.

That would require training staff to know what it means. They still don't understand priority boarding, so it would be 2030 before you might see that.

There is no differentiation in terms of life time status, so perhaps 2030 is a bit soon for that.

Oh you misunderstood, that's just the date for them to learn what the LTS on the boarding pass means, as for differential service, we all know from experience would be to dream the impossible dream...

Personally, LTG seems a much higher achievement. A pity that it's not recognised.

Was with a CL yesterday and apart from the greeting, no other special treatment.

The CL lounge was another story
