Life Time Gold - The [Realistic] Holy Grail

I did observe that QFF noticed intra Asia Z class flights on Malaysian were an easy source of QFF SC.
Z class on Malaysian now earns economy SC in QFF......
Somewhat more challenging in setting up local wandering?

I've not been keeping up with news. When did that get enhanced?

Change comes in end of the month. So you have a few weeks...
No intentions of taking extra flights just yet but I've been considering status runs to extend Thai visa past 30 days.

I may just drive across the border into Myanmar and back again.

Yes. LTG earlier in the year with J flights BNE MEL.
Congrats. I'm curious if they did anything special for that flight? Did the service director make a special announcement during the flight? Were there balloons and a cake at the Qantas lounge?

You must be joking. 🧐

I'm LTG about 4x over and nuthin' happens - as one might reasonably expect. It's hardly a world-shattering milestone.

Surely Qantas must at least issue you a special QFF card that recognizes your lifetime status so that you can flash it in front of gate agents and customer service personnel saying, "Do you know who I am?" Also I seem to recall Qantas announcing pre-boarding for valued Lifetime World Platinum and Lifetime Gold members... in my dreams! 😂

I was given a bottle of champagne by the F lounge in SYD when I reached LTS (after I told them though)...
Not bad! I'm surprised they let Lifetime Silvers into the F lounge. Then again, maybe you were flying in Qantas GlobalFirst? 🤔

Maybe for some, but for others, especially those self funded aspirants, it could perhaps provide a sense of achievement and feel a little bit special... I recall the feeling of relief reaching LTG and those golden handcuffs loosening a bit... and realising I rather enjoyed being WP so the cuffs were still attached until I could find another means of maintaining OWE...😕

Ahahaha. Of course not. Not even received an email with congratulations or acknowledgement.

Just bitter and twisted LTGs like the rest of us eh?
