Assuming you mean lifetime, either QF or myself
Both!

That would have been a winner.I considered buying Ansett Golden Wing Lifetime Membership in the nineties.
That would have been a winner.
Yes, but they have rescinded a lot of them.Indeed, I believe Qantas also had their lifetime membership for sale at some stage.
Actually any Lifetime memberships that were sold are still valid. They've not been cancelled, i.e. rescinded.Yes, but they have rescinded a lot of them.

Qantas stopped selling them.
I will have a (useless) lifetime credit with QF, as my paid club membership was suspended once I qualified through flights and achieved 'lifetime' G. Actually, it probably has been transferred to General Revenue on the books.
I’ve almost given up

Plenty of reports here getting (limited) QP membership refunded pro rata once reaching LTG - did so a few years ago myself.Same here - omg good luck trying to get that credit refunded - the “service centre” agents are beyond unhelpful and want signed stat declarations (not kidding!!!) about when and what I paid and more paperwork to try and get the unused portion refunded
I’ve almost given up but am considering another run at it just because of the challenge of the nigh impossible!
Well done!did so a few years ago myself.
Nor have I, but I am sure there are a few lucky ones out there. If you persist with these applications, sometimes you get paid to go away!Haven't heard of anyone who bought LTQP getting a "pro rata" version refunded upon reaching LTG

I can’t remember back that far.Mine is only QP membership - not LTQP
If anyone has had success and knows the magic password to make it happen I’m all ears

Good luck because if they accept it could open some floodgates.I have just asked if I can transfer the remaining membership to my brother, who is travelling to the US in a few weeks with his daughter on AA.
I figured this would be easier for them than give a cash refund. I've been gold since 2007 so it's been a minute.
No magic password, I just contacted the P1 team and they forwarded the request to QFF.Mine is only QP membership - not LTQP

How long do you plan on living? I think we'll just about scrape through will full use of Lifetime Gold.I'm an old fart and I sometimes think it will be Qantas's lifetime and not mine.
No surprises there.Enhancements could mean Gold may end up with the same benefits as Silver soon.
