Lifetime Gold

Thanks everyone for the congratulations. The flight has now credited, so my Lifetime recognition SC summary just shows "You have attained lifetime Gold recognition." - no total SCs of 14013. Obviously Qantas see no need to keep track any more.
Congratulations; love that number 3 - shows a long term FFer ... :p

Now it's up to you to reconcile your LT SC's if that's your desire. I do a spreadsheet, using the "SC's to next loyalty bonus" from qantas.com. as a pseudo checksum.

Congratulation Bob

Like some of the others it will be a few more years b/4 I reach LTG, it was interesting to know the 3 at the end of your status point refered to being a long time FF.

Helen

Congrats. I'm at least 2 years away unless I start flying a whole lot more.

Sent from my HP laptop using Virgin Mobile Broadband. Apples are for eating, not for posting to the web. ;)

Congratulations Bob. It is a great achievement.

Sent from my Lenovo laptop using 3 Mobile broadband. Apple? It is not something I would want to brag about!

so many flights - no idea how many, but the pile of boarding passes is now over a foot high

Having tracked them for so long the temptation is to continue... sad, I know

Well done Bob.

Any enduring benefits benefits there, do you go to the top of the next tree?

I understand seniority is provided by status, class of ticket, length of FF membership, does LTG figure here at all?

IMHO it should. The hard yards have been done.

Cheers

SPRUCE

Thanks Spruce - My suspicion is that one goes to the bottom of the next tree - whatever that is. As for seniority - I'm waiting for Qantas to give me a special award for 43 years of flying with them. Perhaps when I get to 50 years...

Congratulations Bob, well done. I am about to get to the mile stone myself. I am sitting 190 SC shy of the magical mark. Current indications will have me hitting the mark whilst flying to BOM from SIN in mid September so I will have to post the achievement. By the way, did you receive an email from QF advising you of the impending achievement. I received an email from QF about 3 weeks ago advising me I was about to hit the magical mark. I was wondering if it was a standard email everyone received.

And once you hit LTG they stop telling you how many lifetime status credits you have earned :(

I remember lifetime silver was a non-event - just received a letter - saying they would send me a LTS card if I dropped back from WP. Remember the "good old days", when Qantas would give you an impressive certificate signed by the Captain every time you crossed the equator. :(

Correction - it was signed by the chief pilot

Congrats on the achievement. I'll be around 90% to LTS by end of November, and will hit LTS mid next year at this stage.

I joined the QFF program back in 2000, and have probably earned around 5000 of my LTSC's in the past 4 years. Here's hoping I can make it to LTG within the next 5-6 years (doable if I just re-qual for WP for 6 years, although it's likely to be shorter if I can manage it).
