Limited Offer: Upgrade from Economy

I'm sure I've heard of this company before offering lie-flat upgrades with Air Asia. I'm sure if you google it, there will be a link directly from the Air Asia website.

Cheers for that Blackswan. Looks like Optiontown does lots of upgrade and flight swapping stuff with a small number of airlines.

I think that I will give it a miss. I only paid slightly more for the flights in total.

Speaking about Upgrade offers.

I just got one for my upcoming Budapest-Berlin (Malev) sector in my inbox.

Has anyone ever heard of this company? I'm kind of err'ing on the side of caution with this one, could be spam.....

I also have a Budapest - Gothenburg flight, l might consider that if l get the offer. Depending on price, of course.

No, it's legit. See Malev website: Upgrade Travel Option

Just received this identical offer for my HKG-BNE flight in December, which was booked in O class... not sure if the Y class BNE-HKG fare on the same ticket (with upgrade already requested) had anything to do with it, but I'm happy to receive the offer nonetheless - and have already submitted a request!

I'm not going to be happy if the BNE-HKG flight needs to be changed though - as any changes remove upgrade requests, meaning they have to be resubmitted (... and in this case, it will be impossible to resubmit the HKG-BNE request as the offer expires in 2 days time) .

For those that are curious (and perhaps hoping to receive a similar request), here is the loading for the HKG-BNE flight in question: J9 C9 D6 I0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S7 G0 E0

Received the same offer for my upcoming BNE-LAX sector in December. Tempting, but I'm on one of the new 3 class birds and have the front row of Y...so think I might just suck it up and test out the new economy 747 offering.

I also got an offer again yesterday - MEL > LAX in December, and I already have a request in for the higher fare class on the way back.

Sadly, I don't have enough points to try to upgrade both ways... perhaps one of the board members who's declared they're never flying Qantas again would like to give me 140,000 points? ;)
