Have a Aeroplan booking from SYD->YVR that includes a Virgin Leg from Syd->BNE, then AC from BNE to YVR. (Don't ask my why it was way cheaper to book that one than the one straight from Syd. I will never get the hang of airline pricing)
Anyway - Aeroplan have PER->SYD flights for 25k points - and Velocity is 13.5k points. Aeroplan being somewhat more scarce here / Velocity plentiful + almost 1/2 price in Velocity - It makes sense to book over on virgin.
Now - Anyone know if its possible to link the 2 PNR's so that We can check luggage all the way through - and get the extra baggage allowance of a 50k member
