You made me second-guess myself, but according to my PA (aka Tripit) I fly to YYZ on the 12th.

I am now booked PSA-LGW on the 12th Feb arriving at 1530. The train looks like it will get me to Victoria Station quite easily, so anywhere cheap and cheerful near there would be good.

I am staying at the HH LGW so I can just pour myself back onto the train at the end of the night.

Yep, count me in. Not sure on Mrs Flashback yet, can confirm closer to the date... as we're out the night before seeing The Bodyguard.

FWIW, stay away from the expensive Gatwick Express. Catch the Southern train into Victoria. Same route, 1 or 2 stops more .. only a few minutes more and much cheaper. Although probably worth comparing it to a day return on the Gatwick Express.

Victoria works a treat for me... that's the station I use to get home Mal and I will put our heads together and come up with something.

Depends what kind of food people are into. Mrs Flashback and I recently had dinner at Cyprus Mangal in Pimlico (5 min walk) which was quite decent.

I am not fussed, I just generally stick with cheap and cheerful as the company is more important than the meal.

11th is out for me, unless you are up for a very late drink (circa 10.00pm).

Aa for recommendations, hmm. Will give it some thought. I've never really liked that area for food places. (Too busy / too touristy / too pretentious basically )
