FYI there is currently a tube strike forecast to be running when this is on. I know it won't affect myself, Mrs Flashback or JessicaTam but it may have an effect on Mal's arrival time - if it does go ahead.

The tube strike is likely to delay me by about 15-20 mins. Will see what happens.... Might be able to leave work early.

I would like to join you guys for this. But, it depends on the tube strike - they may cancel it at the last minutes. Will let you know as the date gets closer. Maybe only me, Mr Myrna has been working long crazy hours and now down with a cold.

I have a meeting out in Swindon late afternoon, which may throw a bit of a spanner in the works. Will play it by ear, but it may end up meaning that Mal will in fact beat me there!

I get there 2 days later lol

Nothing wrong with that. There is a huge revolving door at Heathrow.
If you want to catch up for a beer or dinner let me know. While I can't speak for Flashback (who often also attends), I am generally available and enjoying meeting/catching up with AFF'ers.

Not only will I have a tube strike, I will also be battling train cancellations due to flooding in the Thames Valley. (I basically work in that area). Can't see things improving by Wed... There is some pretty heavy flooding around.

Yep, drove very close to it today when I was out and about. Hopefully it won't affect me too much coming back from Swindon as it's a 100 mile drive as it is! There were delays through East Croydon tonight on Southern Services due to a land slide somewhere, so that may affect Gatwick Express.. but will hopefully be sorted by Wednesday anyway....

In any case I will still aim to be at Victoria by 1830. I have your number!

Re: Sucessful ASA Bookings booked at classic rates Reference Guide

Thank you, Jessica! :) Sorry I forgot about the SCs points.

Hope to meet you tomorrow evening in London (if there is no tube strike!)

Just in from TfL "A second 48‑hour Tube strike has been called by the RMT and TSSA unions. If the strike goes ahead, Tube services will be affected from about 21:30 on Tuesday 11 February until the morning of Friday 14 February, when services are expected to return to normal. "

Thanks, OATEK. Am still hoping that the tube strike will be called off at the last minutes. Will keep fingers crossed.

Plans were to meet at London Victoria 18:30 then go somewhere from there ... however I have a meeting at Swindon late afternoon I need to attend, so it's likely either yourself or Mal will be there first! If we want to set somewhere in stone for dinner though I could make a booking somewhere. There's lots around the area.

OK, I aim to be at London Victoria station around 6:30pm. Mr Myrna will not be able to come as he is likely to burn the midnight oil again. But, where is the meeting point? You know me I will get lost as there will be a number of different exits/entrances! I know what you and Mal look like, but not Jessica. I will let you and Mal decide on a dinner venue. I will just follow.

I'll book a table here for 7.30pm Browns Restaurants

The original plan was for people to meet outside WH Smiths at 6.30 and go from there - I think that is still the best option. Or to make it even easier, there is a Krispy Kreme that is a very small stand so would make the possible people around easier to spot!

Further to that.... you guys could then make your way to Browns (5 min walk, if that) for some pre-dinner bevvies - it's just past L'Occitane on Victoria St, as you walk towards M&S away from the road. Then I should hopefully be able to meet you all at Browns as soon as I can.
