Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Great advice
Mine relates to FCO lounge
Arrive early (SQ - SIN) into Rome J
Taking premium class ITA some hours later to Catania - as we do hand luggage we choose highest class intra-Europe due to priority/free seat next etc which works with overhead access. There is no actual J
My Q
There is priority desk/boarding etc but cannot find lounge access in domestic terminal with ITA
Any advice appreciated
Tx
ITA has two lounges now or looks like it has at FCO.
There seems to be one for the Schengen flights.
The Flight Club

I am flying SYD-HNL on QF103 in Y this week. I am SG and will be travelling with one guest.

I know I will get access to the QF J lounge, however, can I also access the EK lounge once it opens at 5.10pm?

There are a number of sources online suggesting I can. There are also a few sources suggesting that EK lounge access is not available for those flying on QF flights to the Americas.

I have not been able to find anything definitive one way or another on the QF or EK website. The QF website states “Eligible customers can also access Emirates Lounges across Australia, Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East when flying on eligible Qantas or Emirates flights with a QF or EK flight number on your ticket.” That quote suggests that you can access lounges which are located in those regions, however, it does not state that the flight must also be bound for one of those regions.

Just noticed that Qantas Club in Honolulu is still closed. Any word on reopening? Any options for QC member flying Alaska Airlines out of Honolulu?

You may get lucky, but I believe eligibility is limited to the QF & EK MCA (Master Coordination Agreement) routes only. That means no Australia <> North America routes would apply. If they are just eyeing a BP on arrival at the lounge, you could have a chance, but if they scan it, it will likely tell them to send you to the QF or OW lounges.

Cheers,
Matt.

Hey All, I'm trying to link a lounge pass with a Jetstar flight from Auckland to Syd. Anyone have any idea why the Auckland - International Business Lounge does not show in the drop down list of locations? I can see from news and other members that they re-opened the lounge on June 30.

Not sure but I visited there a couple of weeks ago and both J and F lounges were open.

I was in AKL a couple of days ago.
The QF AKL First and Int Business lounges are definitely both open. The EK lounge remains closed.

I went into the Business lounge for a look, has had a bit of a reno and the back right corner has a barista cart.
AKL F no change no reno.
The food in both lounges is identical although the buffet area in F is much smaller. The drink selection is better in the F lounge.

Latest update from QF's site and this post is lounge remains closed at HNL. Latest report is they are out meal vouchers of $40 USD for those travelling on JQ/QF metal. If I was you, if the QF check-in is open you're flying out of HNL go there show them your AS boarding pass and QF Club membership and see if they'll issue you the meal vouchers.

Regardless of whether that works, your next bet would be to try the Alaska lounge as you suggested. Technically per the terms you shouldn't be allowed (since HNL isn't a listed port) but you never know:
Qantas Club members and a guest can enjoy access to Alaska Airline's Club lounges in Los Angeles, Seattle, Anchorage and Portland when travelling on an Alaska flight, connecting to, or from, a Qantas international operated flight. Present your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership or Qantas Club card to gain access.

Hope that helps!

I'm thinking to transfer one of the complimentary passes to one of the adults in the booking and we all can access the QF Club in MEL & CBR.
If it's the same booking, then you don't need to transfer the passes to them. You can go to the link pass page and link the passes to them directly.

I'm flying from BNE-KUL on business class with MH in a month's time. My flight on the day itself is at 9.30am.

On the MH website, it suggests that I have access to the plaza premium lounge:

But it only opens at 5pm which wouldn't suit my needs. Will I get access to the Qantas Business class lounge or will I be lounge-less? Looks like Emirates lounge is closed as well.

Will I get excess to the Qantas Business class lounge
Yeah, per OneWorld rules you can access the QF Business lounge with your MH Business boarding pass.

When I flew MH from Sydney last, they also told me to go to the Plaza Premium lounge (SYD). I ended up going to both the Qantas and Plaza Premium lounges :)

I have a query. 4x adults (including me) travelling MEL-SYD and CBR-MEL. I'm QF Platinum. So the website says that I can take in 2 adults & 2 children under the age of 17 along with me to the domestic lounge. However, I have 3 adults with me, with no status with any airline.

Date of travel MEL-SYD - 21 Aug 2022 (Sunday, 7 PM service)
Date of travel CBR-MEL - 24 Aug 2022 (Wednesday 6 AM service)

I'm thinking to transfer one of the complimentary passes to one of the adults in the booking and we all can access the QF Club in MEL & CBR.

OR

Do I rock up to the business lounge (or Club) try my luck getting all 3 adults in ? Any suggestions?
Update : I requested the lounge agent nicely (and I was alone when I made the request, thank you @JessicaTam ) and we were all (1 WP + 3 adults) let in the CBR J lounge today.

Surprisingly, the lounge was only 40% capacity. Must be mid-week lull ?

Hello AFF'ers, I might be flying out of BLR mid-september. Looking at lounge options. QF WP here. Checked the QF website, looks like there is no lounge (partner or QF) in BLR. Has anyone had any experience flying out of BLR, lounge-wise?

If there is no lounge, I might delay my MAA-BLR service to spend as little time (permitting sufficient time for immigration etc) as possible in BLR.

Your best source for finding out which lounges you have access to as a OneWorld elite is the OneWorld lounge finder site. Per the site, you do have access to a lounge at the airport, provided of course that you are flying on a OneWorld affiliated airline:

mmm, it's important to read the fine print since often in the case of contract lounges there's this clause
Access for eligible customers traveling on these oneworld member airlines only.
So if you're not flying BA, MH, or UL, you don't have access. Now of course, it's quite likely QF will be added to that list come mid-september. Qantas usually offers lounge access at most international airports, provided there's a contract lounge available.

Fair point. I will also point out that if they have access to Priority pass there is one lounge available at the airport:

Alternatively you should be able to buy lounge access and if AI lounges are anything to go by the cost should be very minimal (maybe $15 AUD?)
