Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Indeed, Qantas WP have access to the EK DXB first lounges when flying an EK/QF partnership route.

I have not come across any stories of such access being denied. (I'm sure if such were happening, we would know of it.)
+1 and I were denied entry to the Emirates Business Lounge when flying J on EK in 2018.

We were both QF WP at the time and were told we had to go to the First Class lounge. Of course we did as we were told!

I was really concerned today about whether I would be forced to use the QF domestic Business lounge at SYD instead of the far superior QF Club due to flying business to MEL. Fortunately, the lounge agent didn't bat an eye! 😀

Is that the usual Kris Flyer Business Class Lounge?
..know that one well, this trip trying economy class..yikes!
No when flying J you get directed to the SilverKris lounge which is slightly larger and suppose to be nicer. When I flew through about six months ago I checked out both lounges the offerings seemed about the same, if anything the KrisFlyer gold lounge had less people in it however the SilverKris lounge has more shower suites and slightly more premium alcohol / food. Since the renovation they seem more on par with each other than before.

Morning great community,

I will be flying from Singapore to Sydney at the end of the month. First leg Singapore to Bali (3K ticket) and then Bali to Sydney (QF ticket). I have Qantas Club membership. Am I eligible to access the Qantas Singapore lounge in Singapore with my Jetstar Asia ticket (3K)?

Many thanks in advance!

Welcome to AFF @FrothDaddy

The Qantas international Business lounge opens mid afternoon. If it is open before your 3K flight you would be able to use it.

Note that in late march most 3K departures move to T4 at SIN.

The QF Singapore Lounge(s) open at 2:30PM, so presuming you’re on the 3K SIN-DPS flight at 3:35PM, you should just make it in for a quick freshen up and a maybe drink or two. Come March, as @serfty said; 3K leaves T1 and there’s then no option that time would allow for.

Cheers,
Matt.

I was in SIN late November and the international lounge did not open until 3:30pm.

The Qantas website indicates "Lounge operating hours are four hours before each Qantas operated service and closes once this flight departs.".

It depends on if QF72 to PER is operating and at what time….

Yes - sorry; it’s more dynamic than I’d suggested. I was looking at some articles with an opening time rather than the QF schedule and T-4

Does anyone know if Emirates allows access to lounges on arrival for OW emerald members? I have a few hours in FRA before an onward flight with Croatia Air.

Hello all

I'd like some advice from the community about lounge access/preferences for the following travel. This is a oneworld RTW ticket organised via work. I have QF Platinum status and am not taking checked luggage.

9Apr23 QF670 ADL-MEL 0600-0750 (QC ADL lounge)
9Apr23 QF21 MEL-DFW 1145-1245 (MEL QF 1st lounge)
9Apr23 AA1213 DFW-BWI 1426-1819 (Quick connection, won't need lounge, unless delayed.)

11Apr23 AA2314 BWI-DFW 1510-1743 (BWI Chesapeake Club Lounge. I can only find one lounge at BWI. Has anyone here used this, and is it any good? Any others advised?)

13Apr23 AA2964 DFW-MCO 1511-1840 (DFW AA Flagship Lounge? There is an Admirals Club in each terminal, but if LAX is any guide, they aren't great.)

20Apr23 BA2036 MCO-LGW 1700-0620+1 (MCO Plaza Premium or Admirals Club. Has anyone tried the Plaza?)

26Apr23 QF10 LHR-PER 1155-1140+1 (LHR By all accounts the Cathay Pacific 1st lounge is better than the The Qantas London Lounge. Perhaps try both?)
27Apr2023 QF886 PER-ADL 1420-1835 (PER QF Domestic Business Lounge)

Thanks very much in advance for any advice/discussion.

Someone will correct me I'm sure, but I thought domestic lounges cannot be used in the US unless you are in transit same day on international sector

Have you tried downloading free app loungebuddy for your smartphone?

Thanks, just downloaded Loungebuddy.

Was not aware of the domestic lounge exclusion that you mention. I've definitely been admitted to AA Admirals Club lounges when not in transit same day for an international sector.

Forgot to mention that all travel is Economy (points upgrades requested for intl QF sectors) and I shall be relying on my QF Plat status for lounge access.

QF Platinums can use the AA lounges on domestic flights as OneWorld Emeralds, as long as you're on a OneWorld carrier ticket.
