Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Hey Kev, I don't have Priority Pass. Looks like we'll just play some airport pokies! Thanks

sorry for going OT: but see if they have the Maine Lobster pokie machine still!! I got a semi jackpot... three lobsters and two baskets of fries... and the lobsters and fries all started dancing. Pretty exciting. for $1 I got $50 payout.

Haha, sounds great, will check it out! Not going for quite a few months!:)

I'm *G with TK after a status match. I'm flying with Air NZ later this month. My TK gold card will get me into the Air NZ lounge as well as 1 guest (my wife). Will my 6 year old daughter get in as well? I also have 2 Air NZ lounge e-vouchers. If there are any issues getting my daughter in with my TK card, could I use one of my e-vouchers for her? Thanks.

The NZ page suggests that kids under 12 are not counted for Koru members. However I don't know how they apply the rules for *G members.

Hi All,
Have looked through the search results, and can't find a recent case to reference, so here goes: Am travelling with SWMBO (NB) and 2 mini colsters (8,9 years old both NB) to Europe at the end of the month. As a WP I can get into OW lounges but I am interested to know the various policies and experiences re the tin lids around the traps.

Syd-DXB-LHR-BCN (OK with Syd and DXB) - Can I get into the T3 Lounges with all three as guests? PE from Syd to LHR, Full whY from LHR-BCN

BCN-MAD-FCO - Unsure as to the IB lounge in BCN. MAD only have 1 hour between arrival and departure, so no biggie. whY class

FCO-ORY - IB ticket on Vuelling - I think I can guess that I will be using priority pass. whY class

CDG-LHR-EDI - Unsure as to OW access in CDG and see 1) above for LHR whY class

LHR-DXB-SYD as with point 1 above. PE class

Thanks for any input :-)

Not specifically answering your question but my experience with BA lounges is that they are strict with guest numbers and won't add on extra children.

As a QF SG was usually allowed to bring in children. Now that I am equivalent OWS with BA, the SYD Int J lounge staff were quite clear that I was only allowed 1 guest (luckily had a couple of passes up my sleeve)

Hi all

I'm flying qantas on Saturday, Syd-JHB, business class. I think I can use both emirates and qantas lounges at Syd, is that right? If so, which should I use, which will be nicest for breakfast thanks in advance for your advice

I think from another thread the answer was a resounding 'Emirates Lounge!'.

Hi Colster, I've already answered your BA Lounge access chances at T3 on another thread. I estimate they are somewhere between a dog's and none.

I see you mentioned Priority Pass. There are two of these at T3 and a brand new Aspire lounge and Spa at T5

I'm arriving into LAX at 5:32am from HNL and connecting later that night to SYD on QF12. When can I get into the F lounge (T-3?)? I don't think HNL will give me my QF boarding passes.

Given you've got 15 odd hours between flights I do hope you're not planning on spending the whole time in the airport.

At the very least a long, long In & Out run.

Anyway, as a WP you will be able to use the Admirals Club flagship lounge as an arrival lounge in T4 so no problems with lounge access. Just present your BPs and WP card and you'll be granted admission,

Thanks for the info. We (SG) are J on QF63 to JNB next week and did wonder if the EK lounge is available to us in SYD.

Any advice gratefully received.

Not sure if this helps, but its all I can find. Check out the para on lounge access.

However, if this is true then I am surprised at the small numbers of pax in the EK lounge, unless a lot of those who are eligible (QF Plat1, Plat and Gold) just don't realise they have this access. Also its a bit of a walk from the QF gates.

Going VIE to NCE on Niki Airline does this mean as a Qantas SG we 2 can use the Airberlin lounge?

Hey guys,
I will be flying from SFO-LAX with southwest before flying LAX-MEL with qantas. I will have a 6 hour layover unfortunately.

I've had a look through the board and lounge websites but can't seem to find a certain answer.

Can I purchase a day pass for any lounge (preferably qantas), or is there anything I can do to get in a lounge just to freshen up and shower etc.
I enquired with Admirals club to ask if I can buy a one day pass even though I am not flying with them and this was their response;
In Los Angeles we have two clubs, Located in Terminal 4. If you are traveling Qantas you would not
be able to get to our club because security would be an obstacle.
You may want to contact Qantas to ask about their Club access. I’m showing Qantas is restricted to Emerald members or those traveling in First class.

As I just posted on the other thread (while JT was busy closing it :)): Experiences vary, but I have not had any trouble entering T4 with a TBIT QF flight boarding pass. There may be other issues in your getting into the AA lounge, but I don't think security is one of them.

Their advice re QF lounge in TBIT is suspect as well - they are only 'seeing' the F lounge, apparently. There is a regular QF lounge there as well, but I don't know if an AA day pass will get you in there.
