Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Re: Heathrow lounge options QF J

Yep, I was hoping I wouldn't have to go trawling through a 33 page non-specific thread to find an answer to a fairly specific question, but it looks like I'll have to.

Thanks, BD.

You can always post there - more likely to be seen be those that know than a random separate thread.

I made a new thread for this question but it has been pointed out that I might get a better response here. Have asked Mods to lock/delete original thread.

So:

What are my options for lounges flying ex LHR to SYD in QF J?
I will be dropping back to lowly SG by the time I fly and will be with my wife, PS.

So next month i am flying QF MEL-LAX, then AA LAX-JFK and my question is as a QC member can i use the Admirals Lounge at LAX between flights ?

Then on my return flight JFK-LAX is there any lounge i can use at JFK as a QC member (as AA is their partner airline) I found the info on Qantas website confusing

And what class are you flying? First, Business or Economy?

The answer is here:

The Qantas Club Benefits | Qantas

When travelling with American Airlines, as a Qantas Club member you and a guest are welcome at American Airlines Admirals Club lounges. Simply present your Qantas Club card together with your boarding pass at the lounge reception. Both you and your guest need to be travelling together further that day on a flight marketed^ and operated by the partner airline whose lounge you wish to visit.

I just signed up for the Velocity Amex Platinum - comes with 2 Virgin lounge passes. My wife is travelling soon as I was going to let her use them - but now I see they appear under my Velocity account - they're not physical passes? does this mean I can't let her use them? Can I give her my Amex Platinum card to access the lounge? I have not yet gotten a supplementary card in her name- would that help?

I actually don't personally have much use for thems since I have EY Gold.

Hi All,
Have looked through the search results, and can't find a recent case to reference, so here goes: Am travelling with SWMBO (NB) and 2 mini colsters (8,9 years old both NB) to Europe at the end of the month. As a WP I can get into OW lounges but I am interested to know the various policies and experiences re the tin lids around the traps.

Syd-DXB-LHR-BCN (OK with Syd and DXB) - Can I get into the T3 Lounges with all three as guests? PE from Syd to LHR, Full whY from LHR-BCN

BCN-MAD-FCO - Unsure as to the IB lounge in BCN. MAD only have 1 hour between arrival and departure, so no biggie. whY class

FCO-ORY - IB ticket on Vuelling - I think I can guess that I will be using priority pass. whY class

CDG-LHR-EDI - Unsure as to OW access in CDG and see 1) above for LHR whY class

LHR-DXB-SYD as with point 1 above. PE class

Thanks for any input :-)

Hi All,
Flying LAS - HNL (via PHX), AA first class. There's no Admirals Club at LAS & from what I can understand of AA.com we wouldn't be entitled to lounge if there were. Is there anyway we can access a lounge at LAS, short of paying for "the Club Airport Lounge"? I don't hold high hopes but any help appreciated.
Mat

unfortunately, and unless it's changed in the last year, only The Club and I believe an AMEX centurion lounge at LAS. Both are paid access lounges.

Do you have Priority Pass? The Club lounge at LAS is listed as part of the Priority Pass network.
