We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

My information is the last two QF departed as indicated.

I suspect that boarding would have been called no later than 20 minutes before expected departure.

But which lounge in Doha? Are you saying only one has access to F in Dubai? No guests?

In Doha either the Al Mourjan Lounge, the Qatar First Lounge or the Qatar Business Lounge.
I would go for the Al Mourjan Lounge which is restricted to F & J pax - no status access.

In Dubai the lounges are operated by a third party and there is no information about guest access. Usually OW rules permit a guest.

There is also the BA lounge in DXB. You won't have access to any F lounge in either location, unfortunately.

As J PAX (Oneworld rules) you'll have access to the LAN&TAM and AA lounges: https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access/-/loungeaccess/SCL

There used to be 2 LAN lounges at SCL before, but I see that things have changed a lot since 2013!

I don't think so.
All the OneWorld lounges in Delhi are operated by third parties.
And there is no QF lounge.
So the question of whether your codeshare flight is eligible doesn't even arise.

So my very generous FIL has decided to fly 15+ relatives/kids to Whistler for a white Christmas.

i haven't received our tix yet, but we are flying to LAX (from Syd) on Qantas, then to Vancouver on AA.

Return it is both Qantas flights.

What is the easiest/most cost effective way to get lounge access for our flights out of Syd & LAX? We have a 5 yr old & 2yr old.

Other than forking out $510 for QC & whatever else additional cost for a partner club card? I only have 30k FF points (before these booked flights) and I'm pretty sure you cannot use points + pay, it is one or the other?

also, 'guest' is inclusive of child? Not just meaning adult?

No points plus pay entry into QP aka QF int J lounge.
UNLESS QF sends you a specific email offer.
Joining QC aka QP is easiest or pay J class. Upgrading will be hard as its mentioned on here the demand for J is high.
Even if someone else guests you, only 1 person gains entry. Depends on status of other party of course.

Note you don't need a partner membership; one membership will get your whole family into Qantas lounges (since your 2 kids don't count towards your guest allowance).

Correct, and clarifying: Your children under 18 do not count toward guest count. Over 18 they count as guest

Anyone know if I'll have access to any lounge flying from WLG on Singapore Airlines later this month as a VA gold member? No lounges are listed as being available on the VA website.
