From memory there is also QF559 on some days? I'm usually on QF563. Service was started a few years ago to depart ~10m after existing service at 6:10pm but when flights were retimed it became a standalone flight at 6:05pm.

QF559 was also possible I just knew there were no 56* series.

Also what is boring, 737,737,737,737, in times past you could get lucky and get yourself a ride on a 767, or if you were really lucky A330.

@TomVexille and @blackcat20, our schedules were oh so close on 18 Feb. I fly BNE/MEL on QF621, dep 12:55pm arriving 16:15pm, connecting to QF481 (PER) @ 17:40pm. You only get into MEL well after I've gone. Right, a telephone call Lounge to Lounge it will have to be.

The lounges at MEL are being renovated so they are limiting guesting into the QP. J pax should still be able to guest into the J lounge.

Ahh thanks boss, that explains why the two lounges were so full the last time I’ve been there...

It appears that they’ve also tightened control for Intl J lounge guesting at BNE. Got told nope when I tried to guest a random PS in due to ‘security concerns’, as I didn’t know that person . Looks like I gotta pretend they’re my besties from now on.
