My annual 1000 status credit AA status runs become ever so slightly less valuable now... :-|
Hence the change.
I'm not surprised they've adjusted the loyalty bonus to actually reward loyalty to Qantas.

It seems logical, but now let's take the cap off to actually reward loyalty.
Who pays for the QFF points when you take a Oneworld flight and credit to QFF? It is certainly not Qantas.Because they don't make money out of the oneworld alliance or when we earn points on oneworld airlines.
No arguments there. The reality is this loyalty bonus is just becoming more and more of a joke, in terms of rewarding loyalty.

I think that and not having it reset every year... but still keeping it to QF (or perhaps QF group - but some may claim with a % share in FJ they should be part of the group)...
Its very hard being loyal to Qantas living in Perth, one international flight only per day to Asia(Singapore)!
We need more enhancements! Why don't they just get rid of it and be done with it?
So it's now possible to get WP and no loyalty bonii. If you get to 2,400 SCs (including your four ~ QF flights) would you still get the choice of bonus including the 50,000 QFF points?
