Don't reassess. I have got out a suit jacket but only because it's cooling down in the mornings. I can refrain from wearing a tie if that helps.

As it stands, Chelsea from QF Loyalty is putting me on QF566 PER-SYD 1620-2235 Monday & SYD-PER QF574 1730-2025 Tue., and staying at the Sofitel. To be confirmed Monday.

As booking is done through QF, normal online operation of booking is not possible (as a lot of us found out last year).

Ring up QF Res, ensure your QFF number is in booking (for seating only), lest you get a middle seat or back of the plane. There won't be SC's or points for the flights (if last year is anything to go by) but it is an upgradeable (with points) booking.

See Chelsea told me it wasn't upgradeable, however the girls at the QP were happy to bump me to BUS, so I'm rather happy about that

I received a late invitation to the event this morning following what appears to be the result of a late cancellation.

Unfortunately, following no invite being received last week I have subsequently booked myself an afternoon of meetings that I am unable to change at such short notice so my place is now back in the hands of Red Roo.

Hopefully another Sydneysider can take advantage of this late opening.
