My January statement posted yesterday. All points, including ATO are already in Qantas account. Read statement thoroughly and there is still no notice of pending points cap. I wonder if Mac are planning on notifying us?

The points capping is at the bottom of the last page of my January Statement. Easily missed as it isn't bolded or anything. Exact text is
EFFECTIVE FROM YOUR MARCH STATEMENT ISSUE DATE YOU WILL EARN 1 QANTAS POINT PER $1 SPENT ON ELIGIBLE PURCHASES FOR SPEND UP
TO $2,500 PER STATEMENT PERIOD. ABOVE $2,500 YOU WILL EARN 0.5 QANTAS POINT PER $1 SPENT ON ELIGIBLE PURCHASES IN THE SAME
STATEMENT PERIOD. NO POINTS CAP APPLIES. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL 1300 10 1234.
Hmm....does that mean March/April statement date onwards - so that Feb/march statement is at 1:1?
I just checked my statement, issued 15/1, and it doesn't have any such statement. I also checked the website and it doesn't mention it either:

I wonder if this is selective - certain customers are being singled out?
Do you have the Platinum, or the Everyday card?
Platinum.

Here's hoping the Platinum card is quarantined.
Mine is a Qantas platinum card that is going to be capped.
My last 2 statement spends have been $5191 & $11278 but prior to that were between $3000-4000. Perhaps the increased spend put me on their radar?
My statement was also issued on the 15th and had no mention of capping. I think it's more likely that the statements have been updated since then.
