On Wednesday 22 April 2020 during coronavirus, MH129 from KUL to MEL arrived mid evening at 2026 hours, 71 minutes tardy. Aircraft was A333 9M-MTH.

This aircraft overnights in MEL, probably to reduce crew costs - like some other international flights at present, it isn't daily - so on Thursday 23 April, MH128, the 0915 hours MEL - KUL is predicted to depart an hour behind schedule.

The next MH129/MH128 are in a week's time.

On Friday 26 June 2020 during coronavirus, MH148, the afternoon 1430 hours MEL - KUL has been cancelled. MH149 had been due to arrive in MEL 9ex KUL) very early this morning at 0030 but it was given the boot.

The east coast's three major airports (MEL, SYD and BNE) have an individual limit of 450 passengers a day arriving from international flights, with 50 maximum per flight.

The only other flight beyond our shores from MEL tomorrow is QR905 to DOH at 2215 in the late evening.

Friday 11 February 2022 sees MH122 (1310 hours lunchtime SYD up to KUL) expected to depart at 1840, 330 minutes tardy. This is due to MH123, the 1055 hours scheduled arrival coming in at about 1725.

1840 on past history is a little unrealistic unless all goes swimmingly.

On Sunday 20 March 2022, MH141, the scheduled evening arrival at 2030 that was to originate in KUL for SYD was cancelled, so MH140, the 2215 late night departure back to KUL is also unable to operate.

Tuesday 29 March 2022 has seen MH149 ex KUL arrive MEL at 0948 hours, 53 minutes late as A333 9M-MTN did not take off until 2326 hours last night compared to the timetabled depature of 2210 hours.

Would the AKL-KUL MH132 possibly do a splash and dash and pickup some stranded passengers in SYD?./ I can see several impediments that would prevent this

MH122 ended up having A333 9M-MTB that was earlier on MH141, the 0910 hours KUL - SYD that arrived at 2004 hours, 29 minutes late. MH122 then took off at 2359 so it must have received an exemption from 'the delegate' of the Federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport etc. It arrived KUL at 0630 hours, 615 minutes late.

On Tuesday 26 July 2022, MH134 (A333 9M-MTF, the 0930 hours midmorning BNE up to KUL) was airborne 75 minutes later. Expected at gate arrival should be 1656 hours, 56 minute sbehind the schedule.
