Malaysia Airlines Lounges at KUL

The menu has changed and the duck salad no more with some other changes. Seems they change it every week.

Are there any differences between international and domestic terminals? I'm flying international from DPS to KUL, and then onto Penang. Is the OWE lounge (Satellite) available if flying domestically?

You can use it upon arrival from DPS but will then need to leave enough time to clear immigration and proceed to the domestic gate

Yes. There are four lounges at KUL.
Satellite - Business and First
Main terminal - Regional and Domestic

The regional and domestic lounges are much smaller.

KUL is a comingled terminal (like SIN) so if you had plenty of time I believe you could use the satellite lounges, then catch the train (currently a bus) to the main terminal, clear immigration, and then go to the domestic lounge.

There was also a Cathay lounge in the Satellite which had decent views but it closed during Covid and I believe still remains boarded up.

CX lounge KUL definately closed.

FWIW - SQ Silver Kris lounge KUL also closed permanently.

Had a long layover this morning on the way home with a couple of MH flights.
Went with a tandoori chicken and mango panna cotta for lunch. The dessert was lovely, staff as always are the stand out in the lounge, it’s certainly not as refined as QF or CX but I always find genuine warmth from the staff.

It's really the "Emerald"(and Business 'Suites') lounge. Turn right on entry to the MH Satellite lounge.

Here is the menu and a couple of dishes from the MH "Emerald"(and Business 'Suites') lounge in KUL, from about a week ago:

That's the Roasted Pumpkin Soup (delicious) and the Crusted Lamb Rack (perfectly cooked).

I think it's improved from some months ago.

FWIW - SQ Silver Kris lounge KUL also closed pepermanently.
SQ have opened a lounge inside the Plaza Premium Lounge in the MTB at KUL. It's a separate section only for SQ passengers but the food and beverages are from the main section of the Plaza Premium Lounge.

I read about this and was going to check it out but my plans changed and I didn't fly SQ ex KUL.
Maybe next trip.
