Male shopping [rant]

Sorry, bonus brand for chaps looking for alternative sizes - I *strongly* recommend Harvie and Hudson, from Jermyn Street in St James, central London.

Core business are shirts - they are the last Jermyn Street shop that actually makes their shirts *in the UK*. Sorry, Emma Willis is now there, but they don't have the heritage of H&H.

Also do coats, ties, suits, chinos, etc. I have a superb beige cotton blazer/jacket that you can pair with anything and takes you anywhere, especially when going to posh places in Europe in summer.

I'd meant to add the web links to those firms I mentioned earlier:

www.tmlewin.co.uk
www.harvieandhudson.com
Handcrafted Leather Boots, Clothing & Belts - R.M.Williams
RB Sellars | Casual, Corporate & Workwear For The Whole Family
www.oscarhunt.com.au
George & King - Custom Men's Tailored Suits - Australia
www.institchu.com
Athletic Footwear & Fitness Apparel - New Balance

These are my go-to places. Once you're measured up you can avoid going to a physical shop, ever again (unless you're going to Target for jocks and socks).

To comply with the topic requiring a rant, Im going to rant. There is too may brand names!!!!!. Why cant there be a one stop shop. Somewhere where I can buy everything including engine oil. If only Costco......
Big W? Kmart?

I went shopping on the weekend for some new trousers, I have 2 pairs that are starting to fall apart, holes in the pockets and the seams have already had touch ups so I thought it about time for them to be replaced.
So I went to Myer; sizes seemed ok and the prices, well one was ok one wasn't but I was there to buy and didn't want to have to go back.
Select 2 pairs and go home and give them both a quick wash and hang them out;
Both have shrunk, checking I purchased 2 similar sizes of one type and the newer pair supposedly the same size are about smaller in the waist and shorter in the leg, old ones were made in China, new ones in Bangladesh,
I plan on taking the more expensive pair back this weekend and getting my money back; they shouldn't shrink as much as they did.
Not happy,
Shirts aren't really a problem, work supplies them so they don't wear out as much, its the trousers that seem to get a lot of use, and jeans aren't really much good in the Brisbane humidity.
