Because I have experienced it on more than one occasion.

One time I was guesting someone who was on the flight as me and their boarding had a different colour and she rejected them without checking the boarding pass. It was not until I told her we were on the same flight that she had a closer look and then reprinted a boarding pass to look like mine so that she would not look too confused.

Right so according to your anecdote Qantas policy is that the boarding passes have to be the same colour. Yeah, whatever.

Silly routing? Very realistic.

Yes in the context of travelling together from point A to point B it was a ludicrous routing. Because one person is not simply travelling from point A to point B.

Would it have been simpler for you to understand if I had used SYD-SIN-LHR and SYD-HKG-LHR as an example?

I had no trouble understanding your silly routing. You have now suggested something that is sensible for 2 people to do who are travelling to London from Sydney. Well done for getting the point.

Still not traveling together regardless of the destination.

In your opinion

Looks like quite a long FLounging experience arranged there ;)

He's probably seeing a couple of clients, being the good boy that he is, maybe doing the nice little Tarmac tour from Dom to I, a bit of shopping, then into the Flounge.

Start with a nibble of something nice followed by a shower to freshen up for the ordeal. Then a spa appointment. Finally some lunch & libations, maybe be in attendance for a couple of speeches, & finish off with strawberries & champagne before boarding. And being told "turn right Sirs & head to the back of the bus. Middle seats for both of you."
Storyteller, markis10 and I have a pressing engagement in Hanger 96 (you are fairly close in the middle section of your third sentence of your second paragraph), thus our Flounge access will be limited to a couple of hours - plenty of time for a long lunch and a wee dram.

I'll be in Sydney Flounge between about 1100 and 1300 today. Cannot guest anyone but happy to meet new AFFers.
Now when are those moderators going to be passing through?

Anyone in HKG now? I got 6 hours to kill and there is only so much champagne I can drink in CX lounge
