Hmm. May actually be on time to receive QF points and SCs on my J SIN-NRT trip. We leave on 5th Jan so may be tight...

Yes. Had an open SIN-PER QF ticket and J KUL-NRT was a well priced and timed flight. It is also on the new A380 now!

Will QFF points be credited on an MH flight booked soon but flown in February 2013?

Yes, so long as MH has actually joined oneworld by Feb-2013.

Given the experience with Kingfisher (postponed joining about 3 days out, and is now effectively dead) I'm not believing any date till it happens.

Kingfisher as a business is sinking very fast, quite a different situation imo

MH has been losing money, and had the aborted share swap with Air Asia..
Although being govt owned they should have a better chance.

Wonder when classic awards for MAS will show up on QFF site?.

Thought of going via KL in the past on our yearly sojourn to HK trade shows, not been there before, looked at their J fares BNE/HKG/BNE about $4300 not bad compared to QA out of BNE or SYD.

to compare the woes of kingfisher and mas is.... silly. kingfisher have in recent times grounded half of their entire fleet and had their bank accounts frozen. many airlines lose money but MAS isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

I thought no more a380 for nrt. Changed to CDG.

No idea, but I was on a 777 and they emailed me to say the flight had been changed to A380 so I needed to reselect my seats.

Haven't heard anything about a further change and the last email was only ~2 weeks ago.

Yes but at the time that Kingfisher announced joining oneworld and even two days out, they were the 2nd largest airline in India and hadn't grounded a plane.
Now they are a mere shell, with services suspended at the moment, massive debts, and most of the planes repossessed.
Kingfisher went down very quickly

You may want to check as they recently announced they were pulling them and putting them on the LHR run as morew profitable

Bugger, you are right its now an A333 with angle lie flat seats if its their new A333.

If not then old style Busniess no sleeper!!

Not happy:evil:

When did they cancel the SYD/KUL A380??

Maybe I can switch the booking to a QF flight if they start to fly there

Their problems are getting worse. An arrest warrant was issued for Vijay Mallya, Kingfishers' owner, this week in India over unpaid airport fees in Hyderabad.

Miles in Enrich are no good to me. I am waiting.

I transfer from Westpac to Enrich and the flight availability and points cost has been great

Especially around school holidays in J/F

I only transfer what I need to secure the booking

Its a big bummer though about the A380 not coming to Sydney now, as I guess no lie flat J seats and no F seats either as 744's to be phased out

Also MAS dont refund points if you cancel/change a flight (see link below)

What's also interesting is SriLankaN Airlines joining in 2013. That means we'll have TWO OW options to get to the Maldives for that holiday (MH and UL), and will open up some more interesting destinations for xONE4
