Hey All - After a few questions have come through I emailed our host this afternoon, and she has just sent through her responses;

Q - What type of food is available?
A - I have organised some sharing plates Italian, Asian and a game day platter for 20 people.
Q - Is this complementary, or billed at the bar?
A - Accor Head office will be hosting you for the evening so no payment required by you or your guests.
Q - Are there name tags available?
A - Name Tags have been organised for you

Hopefully this will sway Penegal & straitman to join us at the platinum table

:O I was expecting a sole glass of complimentary bubbly or something. This is just a little bit impressive!

Lastminute.com.au has a few options. Most expensive but a few down the lower end like Oaks on Collins.

Looks like Oaks Day has done it's thing with the Hotels. Alweays tough during Cup Week.

OK, rather last-minute i know, but my prior (family) commitment has last-minute disappeared, wondering if I would upset any applecarts by attending this function. Quite relaxed if that is the case, but MartinMemo, if you happen to see this pls advise if it is OK to attend.
