Thank you Martin for organising the evening and inviting us to share it with you.

It was great to catch up with AFFers I've met before and to meet a few new ones. Penegal was disappointingly well behaved!

And thanks to Jessica for the ride to the airport and also to Bill for telling me that the last International Qantas flight from MEL leaves at about midnight. I'm currently in the Qantas Business lounge enjoying my fourth Bluetongue lager. I'll be moving to the Emirates lounge very soon.

Again, thanks to all for a very enjoyable evening.

Am now back at HOTP getting ready for my handsome sleep.

A very good turn out and special thanks to Martin for organising it. I don't think they quite understood what hit them but the food was nice and the company excellent.

Mark almost convinced me out to the elephant as my tram drove past, but I'm glad I went to bed. I am 2 hours late for work thanks to me cleverly setting my 5am alarm as 5pm. Rookie error. Thanks everyone who came I had a blast. I'll see a few of you on the train trip, then the Novotel Canberra, and I'm sure somewhere in between too.

To everyone who missed this is just some of the impressive spread Accor put on for us (and while it was still quite empty!).

Anyone who wants to email our hosts that don't have their cards message me and I'll forward you their contact details.

As bits of last night begin to come back to me, I believe I offered to host something at my place in OOL soon. I'll have a look around feb maybe where it will be a little cooler and put something up to gauge interest Might be nice to spend the day by a pool over casual drinks and some take-away pizzas or something like that.

Thanks Martin for all your work in organising this highly successful event last night. It was a great success & many laughs were had!

It was great meeting many of the frequent flyers based in Melbourne ( & a few from out of town too) it was so refreshing as a newbie to feel welcomed to such a great group of people.
